    I got I feeling that its the lubitel when I saw the title of your video ! This is so far the most interesting camera shop I visited aswell in saint petersburg. I got a few Fed lenses here and Jupiter. Awesome store!

    Great episode, loved the shop and the old camera's.
    Got the same bag, different color, love it, very strong.
    Saw a YT video where a guy put in his Leica in one and threw it against a stone wall, took it out and showed that is was still working, immediately bought one (the bag that is, already had the Leica) hehehehe.
    Thanks for sharing !

      That bag is my favorite one that I use the most. It's holding up well for all the abuse it went through. 😁

    I appreciate the insights and transparency. While watching I remembered I still have the vision 3 four rolls from Silbersalz35 I purchased back in 2019 sitting in my fridge after seeing your vid on the company...ugh. I need to get motivated. I planned on traveling back then right before the c19 thing started. almost 2 years later I am about ready to get on a plane again. Mahalos!

    Enjoyed this behind the scenes and the camera shop. Would be interesting to see how you spend time when you're not hitting the streets doing a video. It would have been interesting to see the place your staying in St. Petersburg and if you'd recommend it as far as it's location and price.

    It looks like a Moskva 6x9 Rangefinder camera (9:42; a copy of the Zeiss Super Ikonta). Those camera's are actually sleepers and not too pricey at the moment. Definitely worth it if the bellows are in good condition!
    The camera with the dual lenses was a FED Stereo (ФЭД СТЕРЕО). Also a fun little camera!

    the horizontal twin lens cameras were Stereo (3-D) cameras, the second shown was a "Fed"

    Thanks for sharing Robin, nice to see a day in the life video. Surprised how good the footage from the Sony ZV-1 and DJI Osmo Action look 😉

    • @therealsirrobin
      @therealsirrobin  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Darryl! Love the ZV1 but a wider version would be even better. I now switched to an Insta360 One R 1 inch edition. It has a massiv sensor and a nice flat profile. So far the footage looks nice!
      Snake Alley is missing us! 😫

    Those double lens camera’s are probably stereo (3D) camera’s one lens for the left image the other for the right image

      Could also be camera’s used to make passport photos where you need two identical photos. This used to be normal back in the 1980s (when i got my first passport).

    I could hear you get excited about a bunch of Russian models, but all I could see was some old FED and Kiev cameras. I'm confused and disappointed.
