This video was taken during the 2022 sugar cane harvest season at Semboro Jember, East Java
The track used is a "ram" rail, not the main track/fixed rail. It is impossible for the main route to enter the garden where the soil is unstable, so this Ram is used
Ram is a disassembled rail used to connect the main route to the location of the plantation that is being harvested/felled.
The ram is placed on the paddy field/garden with iron plate bearings, & installed temporarily, after the plantation is finished cutting, the ram is dismantled again.
Ram is only intended to pass lorries & small/light locomotives. Meanwhile, the large locomotive is waiting on the main line
For friends who have just joined my videos, they must have "misunderstood" about this route, thinking that this route is damaged but still being used, thinking that this route has never been maintained, etc.
However, for friends who have been following my videos for a long time or understand about the "Per-Sugar Factory" train, you will definitely understand.
In all PGs that use garden routes throughout Indonesia from the past until now, they also use "ram" rails, apart from having a main route.

for the foreigners, this is a sugar factory’s train to transport the harvested sugar cane back to the factory. also, this wobbly line is a temporary line to the crops, not the main line. this train is not meant for transporting people, Indonesia operates DMU, EMU, and the brand new high-speed railway across the island, don’t forget that Indonesia also has subway, commuter line, LRT, MRT, and the longest BRT network in the world. i’m saying this because of how much of you don’t read the description and think that this is the way we transport people. we are not poor and have safety standards tho 😊

@@Manuel-sm2ez there are some sugar cane factories that operate lines of these tracks near my grandparent's house. this is in Indonesia, and it's really often to see these wobbly lines carrying sugar cane, palm fruit, rubber, coffee, and other things all over the archipelago, like the example in java island usually carries sugar cane, in borneo island usually carries palm oil, etc. just because it doesn't exist in your poor country doesn't mean it doesn't exist in other places.

This is called loco this is horizontal reciprocating engine British people used this kind of transport used in indian jungle for logs.
What? it's a normal 4 cylinder german diesel engine. No horizontal engine in this.

Yg non permanen biasa dipasang mendadak klo pas panen tebu dan rel sm bantalan cm dipasang diatas tanah/ga ditanam,biasanya dari sawah nyambung ke rel permanen dan loko nunggu disitu
Habis selesai panen rel non permanen dibongkar lagi
Alangkah baiknya jalan lori nya diperbaiki dulu.
