Thanks for sharing the stories! Love hearing them all! However, I do want to share that from my personal and friend's experience the Paris lottery system is honestly much harder than it seems. I'm glad you had success (love your birkin!) and I have had been offered too a couple times before the pandemic but recently it's been increasingly difficult to get an appointment and even if you finally do get one, the last 5-6 appointments me and my friends or husband got all did not result in a quota bag offer even with purchase history in Paris. I just want to share this because I would hate for us Hermes lovers to get our hopes up too much to think that there is a very high chance to get a quota bag in Paris with the lottery system because it frankly is no longer true. It's really difficult and a lot of luck is factored in as well. So definitely don't advise anyone to just go to Paris to try to get a quota bag or else they can very likely be disappointed. Hope this helps someone :)

I spent 65k in Orlando boutique in 6 months. They only offered me the Kelly Danse in pink. What a joke. I dropped them. No longer interested in shopping there. The manager there is horrible. Don’t waste your money there. Shop at the one in Palm beach. I got offered a gold Birkin.

I don't think it's based on just luck. I think it's client profiling discrimination. It's unfair that certain clients are able to score 1-2 QB per year just spending a ratio of 1:1. Whereas the majority has to spend a ratio of 3:1 or higher and some clients still can't score a bag. Therefore, it's considered client discrimination profiling on whom they only like or don't like. Hermès needs to have a set rule that applies to all clients equally and stick to it!
I do have a question. If we purchase leather goods such as a Constance wallet to go, will that delay the time of getting our QB offer sooner? Thank you.

In regard to your question, I believe that any bag or slg (that can be used as bag, example: Kelly to Go, Constance to Go) may potentially delay quota bag offer.
But, as you said, it’s not fair game and someone may get an offer of BK after Kelly to Go literally in couple of weeks. And someone will have to wait an extra year. 🫶🏻

I believe only something that can be functioned as a bag. All other leather goods are okay. But, each boutique has different policies. Suddenly, there are no set rules 🙈
Not understanding why it’s so important to get bags in store. She could have gotten what she wanted on the 2nd hand market brand new (not pre-loved/used) for around USD$30K max. Why is in store shopping a priority? Can you help explain please? Even going to Paris has gotten very hard. I do wish her the best regardless.
Back then's pre-spend is much much lower compare now. The common pre-spend on b/k25 1:2/+ in toronto, rules/policies also applied, plus the price point increased a lot over the years, second market definitely is the best friend.

I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from LYXBAG for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.

Yes, I believe for the first bag(nowadays) you have to wait for one year. So you don’t have to spend that much so quickly. When I got my first bag I waited for about 4 months, maybe a bit longer. And I spent 1:1 maybe a bit more if I count other handbags purchases( I actually have video on my channel with explanations of everything and with all spending numbers). But it was before this crazy “ratrace”, we called “Hermes Journey”. Good luck, hold on your spending. Remind of yourself to your SA before the end of your year.

@lucym9237 No, you don’t want to come and waste “valuable time of SA”. They expect that you buy something. Comeback in 2.5 months and get something small. Bathroom towel or some bathroom soap. I mean you got the picture. Politely remind of your wishlist(quota bag wishlist). I stopped shopping at one point for almost a year. And eventually got a phone call. But I didn’t waste my money for the things that I don’t want.
