Hi, one interesting minor blues bass line is "Thrill is gone" played by Luther Allison on the album "Live in Paris" 😉 The Chord progression is interesting too, well the guitar solo is also interesting, the keyboard solo is really nice, and the full album is really nice too 😊
Thanks again Greg great lesson. Could I suggest another great minor blues. A few weeks ago you had a song by Junior Wells and this is a different take on an old minor blues song "Goin' Down Slow". It is from 1975, a Cd "Live at Theresa's" a small blues club that Wells was a regular player. Earnest Johnson is playing bass and it is a great groove, sort I think you will like, with some challenges. I thought of it when you mentioned "locking in with the drummer" on ZZ Top song. There are some other wonderful blues songs on the CD too
Great recommendation, thanks! I checked it out and really like the bass groove. I actually covered Free's version of 'Goin' Down Slow' (which was pretty challenging!) but it will be interesting to analysis this Junior Wells version. th-cam.com/video/ZCdQNO3cowU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NTV9pb1SPBwu8o2y

Just seen that. Check back in an hour, I’ll see what the problem is.
The PDF should be working fine now.
Thank you! I really need to get that shuffle under my fingers!
