My mom is contestant Karlotta Nelson. I was 1 1/2 yrs old when she was on four episodes in June 1974. Today is her birthday (10/18/42); she would've been 78. I'm watching her, thinking of her. Thank you everybody for watching.
I saw your remark from responding to guy who made a nonsense remark. Well your mom was on top of her game today. Maybe on her last episode she got tired of winning. Would you mind if I asked when she passed. Bye.
I thought there was just one answer for the sequel to the "Blazing Saddles" about exotic dancers question. What about "Blazing Tassels"? Can't believe no one said that.
Charles scored his 9th H/H match today! Looking at his success rate, I'm surprised he's not called on more. I've noticed though that he seems to give poor answers to the audience match questions more often than his co-panelists, so maybe that's what scares contestants away? Here's the updated leader board for the 7 celebs to have scored 3 or more H/H matches so far, ranked by their current accuracy scores: Orson - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Betty - 52.6% (10 wins in 19 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 46.7% (7 wins out of 15 attempts). Charles - 45% (9 wins in 20 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). Richard - 31.5% (35 wins in 111 attempts). Brett - 28.6% (6 wins in 21 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 252, excluding the lost/missing episodes 31, 32, 33.
Am I the only one that thinks Bretts outfit was in fact hideous? I think most of the panelists were thinking the same. Also, I think Brett tipped off Karlotta when she commented about spelling. Because psoriasis is hard to spell especially if you'd never read the written word
Well dear, I have to disagree. I think it's quite pretty. And I believe she said someone had made it for her? But we can agree to disagree. And what I notice everytime Gene gets to Brett, she shifts from one butt cheek to the other. Lol...everytime! I don't think she ever realized she was doing it either.
1:07--Barbara Colby was a stage and television actress who appeared in episodes of "The Odd Couple" and "Mary Tyler Moore." Ms. Colby was signed to co-star in the "Phyllis" spinoff with Cloris Leachman and appeared in the show's first three episodes before being killed in a random drive-by shooting on a Los Angeles street on July 24, 1975. She was 36.
10:09 Lol! I love that Karlotta says _"The Heartbreak of Psoriasis"_ , after which you hear CNR say _"She's adorable."_ He'd already professed his love during their first head-to-head, but it was at this point that it blossomed. Several episodes later after she's gone he yells "I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH KARLOTTA" when he gets flustered over something. (Will time stamp it when I get there.) *Ep. 255 - someone else has already stamped it - it's around 14 minutes into the episode after Karlotta left. Yes, they were taped on the same day, but she left quite the lasting impression.

Happy Birthday to her in Heaven!!! ❤️🙏🏼🎊🎁🎉

I'm sorry for your loss. I thought your mom was so beautiful & fashionable. She seemed like such a sweet lady.
My condolences, Kelly....
She’s lovely

Can't believe no one said that.
yes
The contestants miss the most obvious answers all the time. I wonder why they would even go on the Match Game if they have no sense of humor.
I would have said "Blazing Hips".
I was thinking the same thing, I was surprised nobody said it.
Blazing Paddles
And another gorgeous outfit on Karlotta!

none none What in the world are you talking about???
Panelists:
1. Scoey Mitchell
2. Brett Somers
3. Charles Nelson Reilly
4. Patti Deutsch
5. Richard Dawson
6. Marcia Wallace
Besides CNR, BS, and RD, I wish Scoey Mitchell was a regular, and Betty White. 🥰
This must be the episode where Gene became the "star"as opposed to being the "host".
I like Brett’s new front room drape
I just love Scoey love love love him. ❤ 😊
Wow I love Brett’s dress it’s gorgeous and pink just like my old room and I love her wig too

The heartbreak of *psoriasis* is spelt like that, folks!!!
Spelt... ha!!!
@@mj6962 For your information, that is an accepted spelling; look it up if you don't believe me... ha!!!
mosseisleyYT no. It’s not. Ever.
@@mj6962 I told you to look it up, you wilful ignoramus: www.lexico.com/en/definition/spell
I haven't misspelt "wilful", either.
LOVE Richards quip about hang gliding since I love to hang glide......

Very sad! It gave me chills when Brett mentioned her.
Carlotta designs are fantastic
A year in and everyone says boobs without all the kerfuffle. Amazing how quickly mores changed
Stark Naked
There was NOTHING else!
8:10 Creston Iowa reference
That doesn't come up often on national TV.
Ohh...Barbara Colby; what talent the woman had. Damn shame. R.I.P.
I thought blazing boobs was a good answer. The reason why Marsha said blazing bellies is because she used to be a belly dancer.
Whoever did the slates in cursive... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
interesting how Scoey proved Charles wrong in the with "brand name"....
On this date in 1924, Peggy Cass was born..

Gene was such as creeper with his sexist comments, but hey it was after all the 70’s! Different time different place. 🤷🏻♂️😊
Gene was a kiss rapist. Whether they want to kiss his Dracula like face or not, it's his show, so pucker up baby.
But yet nowadays people are more disgusting and nasty. The 70s were tame compared to today.
Why not brand new?
Brett embarrassed the contestant about wearing a wig. Obviously he was.
He was?
Actually, he wasn't....he's my brother and had a full head of feathers back then.....but he did have quite a familiarity with a blow dryer!
@joelelah1 His hair didn't look like a wig to me. It was glorious 70's hair, that's all!
@@joelelah1 atta bro. 👋😊
Sure it was obvious lol
