Regarding my earlier post(s), I went back and started the beginning of the movie again, and this time I stuck with it no matter my feelings about the movie. I finished the movie and was glad that I did. 302 episodes? Of course, I got to see the "bull" of the family -- the mother -- and was happy that I stuck with it. She is such a great actress. And the "joker" of it all, the hilariously funny worker who takes the wrong pills and has "funny streak" had me laughing to the hilt. For those of you who may have felt like I previously did, don't miss this movie. It's a winner!!!
I hate every time Esma says Sureyya forced to be part of that family!!! She fell in love with Faruk before she even knew the family... unlike Ipek who forced herself into the family!!!😏😏😏

2:46 they were supposed to be parents together, they were both excited to experiment this together. Unfortunately they have lost their baby. And Sürreya feels like she’s now alone in this pain. She wanted so bad to have this with him, and seeing him having this not with her, makes her feel so sad😢

The comment Faruk made about the closet😂😂😂 Then they were still laughing it up when they got home😂😂😂. Too cute 😍. That Akif and Senem are actually one of the main reasons I like this drama so much. They are wonderful together and give us lots of laughs and smiles.😊❤❤❤

Sureyya has too pure and good of a heart that she forgives him all the time, I think if she didn’t get back from Prague,he would have moved in with Begum and Emir,because that’s what the old witch wanted,Sureyya’s marriage was doomed from day one, As I was saying before,if this is based on a true life story,Mrs Sureyya Boran had a very difficult life but she endured because she loved Faruk!
One thing I noticed in Turkish dramas that when any conversation takes place between people good or bad nothing is confronted to bring out the truth only once in episode 74 did Sureyya tell Faruk about the talk she and Begum had that also she was drunk otherwise it's left to the viewers to imagine
Begum messaged Can that she is also going nd they have reached etc.... But what about our Mr Farukh 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ he doesn't seem to remember to msg Sureyya that Begum is going along as a last minute change of plans. Definitely Sureyya has trust problem in this situation
Faruk did not tell her about Begun or Emir when he should have sooner. When she asked him about past he gestured with his hands dusted in the past. She could accepted better if he told her. Begum is no better she should have said something and not take her as patient.
When you're constantly being lied to . And treated terrible by your mother in law . I would have trust issues to but they would be careful not to push me to far.
When she married him there was no other woman and a child. I completely understand her. She was not expecting to deal with this situation. She has his family to deal with and now an ex with his child. And his son is old enough to understand he has a wife and he will not be with his mother. He should only be there for his son. Think of it from her point of view - she did not sign up for this situation. It would be very difficult to handle. I watched this up until the last season but then skipped to the end because I didn’t like what they did with the time jump.

See in my case they all would've been a wreck because Ipdk would've been afraid to come out of her room . I would've told Fitrek what his problem was with Faruk at t he dinner table so everything would've been out in the open. And Esma when she faked that heart attack I would've put her ass in a nursing home for a month and no one would've been able to see her but me and I would've given her yhe rules before going home.

Faruk just needs to let go, I understand he was brought up to be in charge and run the family but at some point he have to let them make their own mistakes and hopefully learn from them.

So Faruk is making one of many romantic moved when he feels guilty for not letting his wife know that he was going on the camping trip with his ex. And she seen the picture posted with him and son and his ex like a happy family . Faruk cares so much about what people have to say yet he let the picture be posted. The writers should have added that part into the scene where someone meets him and wife and asked about it and wasn't his wife in the picture. I would have to hear what he has to say, maybe than he would have understood what his wife is going through when these pictures are posted all over the internet.
There's so many unanswered questions and answers that should have been told in this series not once Suraya got a chance to express her feelings that's why I say the writing of this series is only one sided the Borans have the first and the last say Suraya as the eldest daughter in-law can't talk or she's in trouble with her husband and the rest of the family only Osman is her friend here he's the only one she can talk to the mother's a trouble maker and Faruk just listen to his mom there should be more seasons too even Can and Adem plotting together to bring this family down and bankrupt was not revealed and the fact that he's the one stalking Suraya also were not opened the photos of Suraya in the box weren't found so much had to come out in the open maybe they will do the series over or upload more episodes that these things can come out I'd like Suraya to stand her ground against them tell them how she sees things

@sweetophe am totally fed up with Faruk's nonsense at this juncture. The storyline is also biased and doesn't give much space for Sureyya to air her grievances, disappointments & cruel treatment she received. She seems weak in the sense that she does not stood her ground & give Faruk the " dressing down " he deserved to put him in his place. The worst thing is the " tell all" by Faruk admitting his jealously. Faruk's pent up emotions relating to his ex Begum s/b seriously & urgently address by Sureyya to put her marriage in proper perspective. She needs to have serious discussion with Faruk on their marriage, relationship & new family dynamics. If they want their marriage to work, Faruk must put his wife's interests first, and have open honest communication. Both parties must make clear of their expectations in the marriage. No more 3rd party interference. Faruk needs to make new firm arrangement with Begum regarding co-parenting Emir, which should no longer be at Begum's house, to be fair to Sureyya. Sureyya must be firm in her demands with respect to her marriage expectations & no more confusions. That's my take on this.

Should pin Faruk down by getting the social media to have a field day airing/sharing views and speculation on his intimacy with a woman and child in the photo, but not his wife. Put Faruk in a spot publicly to shame him giving it full publicity and see Faruk's reactions and response. I would love that very much just to spite him for what he did to Sureyya.

The writers should have added that part into the scene where someone meets him and wife and asked about it and wasn't his wife in the picture. I would have to hear what he has to say, maybe than he would have understood what his wife is going through when these pictures are posted all over the internet.

The storyline is also biased and doesn't give much space for Sureyya to air her grievances, disappointments & cruel treatment she received. She seems weak in the sense that she does not stood her ground & give Faruk the " dressing down " he deserved to put him in his place. The worst thing is the " tell all" by Faruk admitting his jealously. Faruk's pent up emotions relating to his ex Begum s/b seriously & urgently address by Sureyya to put her marriage in proper perspective. She needs to have serious discussion with Faruk on their marriage, relationship & new family dynamics. If they want their marriage to work, Faruk must put his wife's interests first, and have open honest communication. Both parties must make clear of their expectations in the marriage. No more 3rd party interference. Faruk needs to make new firm arrangement with Begum regarding co-parenting Emir, which should no longer be at Begum's house, to be fair to Sureyya. Sureyya must be firm in her demands with respect to her marriage expectations & no more confusions. That's my take on this.
