@ I would also say the atmosphere isn’t right. Maybe some sit scenes of fans dancing after a 6 or after a run of boundaries. All crowds sound the same from T20 to a test. Also maybe some cut scenes to the booth at tea or between innings.
The target audience, subcontinent fans, have less purchasing power which results in low sales and less profit. After all games, like movies is business and nobody wants to take risks!
The biggest flaw in the game mechanic, i feel is, there is no way you get bowled or lbw while playing across the line to a seaming delively. I can hit those shots all day without risk.
@@RahulRants The nerfing is not in terms of power but when the ball is seaming back in, the timing window should of flick should be very small, to create that difficulty. No cricket game takes care of these small intricacies.
From last one decade there is only 1 developer that is BIG ANT, at this point they are taking the advantage of zero competition and selling us slightly updated version each time with same bugs, same animations, batting and bowling styles. Cricket 24 is the best example of copied version of cricket 22. As cricket games fans, big ant should face a major backlash in a huge number that we won’t buy their game next time if they do make the necessary changes and additions.
@ BCCI has said somewhere that they will also do something with gaming ventures. If it will be done, they should not do a deal with BIG ANT because we have seen bigant’s BEST and their CEO’s vision who thinks upgrading the game is not their responsibility. Should be someone else. In ten years bugant’s cricket games could have been much more bigger but unfortunately its easily replaceable.

They just concentrate on money making online modes. Cant really compare to battle Royals. Games like wwe, f1, pro evolution soccer all got their success based on their manager mode/ gm mode/ career mode etc. Online is important, yes, but cricket as a game is so complicated that there will various exploits you can do , all within rules, like standing way outside - bowling wide yorkers etc that are just not suitable for online play IMO
The only remotely big difference I see between cricket 22 and cricket 24 is the lack of REAL footwork in cricket 24, wherein the batsman glides into position rather than actually removing the foot and then planting it on the ground.
Fast bowlers don't feel fast and a threat to the batsman. There needs to a more natural feel with batting, it feels too digital. Some people thinking EA will make a great cricket game can't have played some of the old catastrophes they released.
Right now we can play around the physics settings to improve the feel of the “fast bowling” like the Pace bowling visualisation setting under physics. Push it to 98 and it is a good experience! But, I get your point!
It is a very good game compared to say EA’s offerings, although don’t agree on the“ totally realistic” part The ball physics itself defies logic which is a big issue and needs some urgent correction!

I am a ps5 owner and I am a big cricket fan but after watching game plays online I never felt like I should buy a cricket game....... Even though the player models have been improved and polish but by seeing those stupid AI behavior and lack of innovations I don't wana play a cricket game ever........ And because of less popularity of cricket as a sport in the whole world it looks highly unlikely that we will get a good AAA level cricket game....

yes cricket is 8 countrys fallow but football has following so many country's you said is correct no glitches c22 or c24 its ok good game requested to raise complaint to big Ant studios
so many unrealistic aspects of cricket 24 just remove you from the immersion of the game. like batsman hitting a six off back foot over cover to a spinner? or when you play online and players just take guard outside off stump which makes getting them out impossible. i’ve also seen players hit insswinging yorkers for 6 over point lol. there is just a big aspect of logic missing from the game and there is no reward/punishment from making the wrong shot selection as long as your timing is good.
Online has lot of loopholes in a game like cricket. Players can just take advantage of all the rules and it just can’t be stopped like standing way outside off or leg stump, etc.
@@RahulRants i think that can be fixed with the correct implementation of physics in the game. if a batsman is standing outside off stump he will miss balls aimed at his stumps. If he is standing leg stump he will miss balls outside off stump. I think cricket games most importantly need to reward or punish players for playing correct/incorrect shots, which is what makes batting so difficult in real life.

However I stl expect Aussies to comeback in the series and come back hard at us! Pakistan’s issue in test matches, if you ask me, is that none of their star limited overs bowlers seem to have the fitness to last long test series. They lose their pace and penetration after the initial spell which is not the case in LOiS as the number of overs are lesser! Need to get blood some good FC bowlers!

big ant cricket looks so slow man like you just play one match and u will bored but if i play matches in cricket 07 i can play go on for 5 games in a row and still not bored with that game because its fast pace game.
M not a fan of EA sports cricket game as I prefer actual simulation. Cricket is a slow game in real and I like it that way. There are many other ways to make it interesting though

Pakistan’s issue in test matches, if you ask me, is that none of their star limited overs bowlers seem to have the fitness to last long test series. They lose their pace and penetration after the initial spell which is not the case in LOiS as the number of overs are lesser!
Need to get blood some good FC bowlers!
Ashes 2009 was the only last game that was impressive with physics n gamplay it was to realistic and the game was was too advace people didn't bother or it was overshadowed by cricket 2007 cartoon game

big ant cricket looks so slow man like you just play one match and u will bored but if i play matches in cricket 07 i can play go on for 5 games in a row and still not bored with that game because its fast pace game.
I actually prefer simulation instead of arcade. Hence DBC 14 is my all time favourite game
M not a fan of EA sports cricket game as I prefer actual simulation. Cricket is a slow game in real and I like it that way. There are many other ways to make it interesting though

Yeah that require a large purse, and cricket is doomed sports it self there are only 5 nations that play competetive cricket others are on their way down associates doesn't have any spark so its a dieing sport
I guess some of that is exaggerated. As a sport it will continue, atleast in subcontinent.
@RahulRants there is basically ind, aus.eng, south.africa, and nz that play competitively you want to see their game but others its either one sided or full blunders its just so boring to watch cricket nowadays

@@hassankarim3909WI beat Australia recently. Some of the associated countries have closed the gap significantly in white ball cricket to the bottom 5 full members. ICC has to put resources into these countries even if it means short term pain
@@Will5353_ @Will5353_ sometimes these flukes happen but you can't expect consistent performances from teams like WI or associate nations and they don't even get the share they deserve to work on their sport betterment with little to no resources to help them, its unbelievable that the sport has been around for more than 50 years and still hasn't grown to more than 10 regular test playing nations that speaks volumes of incompetency of ICC as a body cuz its all about money the big boards take up loin shares which will not improve cricket let alone increase audience or nations and there smallest of shares for associate nations who have potential to grow but can't again money is the problem distribution is the problem. that is why i said Cricket is getting boring day by day
