I totally agree. For 70 years old, he sings damn well and still has his guitar chops. Glad you enjoyed the video. I uploaded 12 songs from that concert, all there in my channel. Check them out if you haven't already.
@@rockinggator969 will do growing up in Texas I had to love Southern Rock from the Allman brothers to Lynyrd Skynyrd to .38 Special my wife and I have been to the swamps of Mississippi where that plane went down in . 77 something to see now one thing stuck out they were all under the age of 30 they must have felt invincible.
well the song is downtuned, but would be for many singers this age difficult to sing, he s doing very well nevertheless, his tone is still strong and consistent,
I seen them live last fall and their coming around again next Friday night. I can't wait to see them again. It was one hit after another and they sounded great! Don and his band were fantastic!
It's really the two of them together that built the band. It's too bad Donnie Van Zandt had to quit. We are lucky that Don Barnes is still carrying the torch.
Don Barnes has held up real well thanks for the upload

This song was the mantra of my 1980s mind-set. Thank you for posting.
I am glad you found the video! They were so big in the 80's, lots of good memories from then!
Chained Lightning and then this song...yeah!
Another classic!
Nos that is a rock show right there!
Indeed. Still rocking after all these years.

Mr. Donnie Van Zant , the younger brother of Lynyrd Skynyrd co-founder, retired due to hearing and health concerns.
No disrespect to Mr. Van Zant but Mr. Barnes is and always will be 38 Special.
