    I bought a 2011 P7B a couple years ago at the time it had 67,000 miles on it and had to be a supervisor car because it is in great condition. No light bar holes, no cage holes, clean inside and out.
    Best used car I ever bought 👍

      My 04 P71 was the same, no holes, no cage, no black and white, matching rear seat, 77K miles, cruise, 3:27 gears...and still had the rub strip on all 4 doors...was a constable's car from Grant County WA....best car I've ever owned, I'm STILL kicking myself for selling it

    I just picked up a 05 that was previously owned by the FBI in NJ. I've got a few small things I want to do to it and so far your channel has been very helpful 👍

    Hey WJ, thanks for "inviting me over" to check out the new CVPI. Looks like a winner! The green staining in the inside door handle is from spare change, namely the pennies, which everyone throws in there. Looking forward to fixin' her up with you!

      I'm thinking the green is air conditioner dye to check for leaks and it will wear or wash off.

    Nice looking car there. I'm hating on you because my CC was disabled but my '05 did come with 3 sets of keys as well. I have been wanting to pick up another Vic here lately. I'm in Dallas county, so Vics are everywhere here. Lots of parts available since there are a lot of salvage yards here. Looking forward to updates on this Vic.

    Hey brother! Here because of your analog odometer turning over.. My ole 2011 P7B has 135k miles on her. 👑 Still has a good RSA spare, but she has winter tires on her because of Chicagoland. 😂

    Ohh...you scored well. Heck, there is $500+ just in the tires. I am looking forward to your solution on how to patch the roof holes. I hope it will be POR 15 + fiberglass? I think all CVPI have holes that need a proper repair. 👍

    NICE pick up!!! The horn works--lucky dog. I have tried EVERYTHING and every video and trick to get my horn operational with no luck. Also, I have one hole in the top of my trunk lid I cannot get to. I have the same rubber grommet as a cover. Good luck and enjoy the new project!!!!! Do an a/c charge video!!!!!

    Do the roof hole video next, I am going to attempt the same thing at the end of the summer when it becomes cooler. I have a sheet of roof metal and JB weld.

    1200 idle hours holy crap! this Baby's barely broken in. My cop car had almost 9,000 idle hours and 170 Grand miles on the meter. Nice score

    Very nice.. decent idle hours on this one. I just replaced the fuel pump on my 2008 with 121k miles, not too bad of a job if you have to do it.

    • @mrwright9553

      Chris Vandernaald how did you know it needed a fuel pump

    • @WJHandyDad
      @WJHandyDad  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      fuel pump symptom is usually random dying on the road, particularly while sitting at stop lights. It gets worse and more frequent until you have trouble starting the car at all.

    Looks just like the one I bought a month ago - but in Canada - same lack of moulding trim on front doors. Mine has just under 85K miles and approx 2200 idle hours. Which headlights will you use for replacement? Also, do you think that upgrading suspension will make an appreciable difference in handling? (control bars and sway bars) I will be interested to see you how you install keyless entry. Enjoyed this video and just subscribed.

    • @WJHandyDad
      @WJHandyDad  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll post video with links when I do it. I still have the stock ones on it right now. I'm about half way through installing the back up camera and parking sensors and I've run a couple wires for the keyless entry. Since this is my 3rd time doing it to a Crown Vic, I've gotten smarter about how to do it so the videos should be more helpful than my prior ones.

    Question I bought a 2010 p7b crown vic. Paid 500 got 70,000 miles. Is it the same as a p71? Also I'm not a car guy but do you got any advice

    • @WJHandyDad
      @WJHandyDad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      P71 was the VIN specification (2FA_P71...) up to 2009 Crown Victoria police interceptor. For 2010-2011 they used P7B for police interceptors

    Most TH-cam channel owners’ video upload dates are listed as “Published”. Yours say “Premiered”. What’s the difference and how did you get it to say that?

    • @WJHandyDad
      @WJHandyDad  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      it only applies to videos that you "premiere." When you upload them, they can be viewable right away or scheduled to premiere later. If you do a premiere, you sit and chat with your subscribers the first time the video plays. It's a fun feature if you have enough people to chat with. It's no fun when you premiere a video and there are only 1 or 2 people watching with you LOL
