24:09 James Mangold heard this and made LOGAN to prove Cyrus wrong

    It’s already 10 years old!!!
Another one of the best movies of 2013
Minor issues I still had but it totally makes up for everything fans and critics complained about with the 2009 movie
Director James Mangold handles this second solo outing of the most popular X-Men character making it more somber
A man like Logan with his mutation can run out of things to live for, not being able to die can be a heavy burden watching everyone else die, everyone wants to find love and have a family and one day grow old, can we actually find peace through mortality?
The action is a lot better here, the Japan setting is genius having Logan go up against the Yakouza with swords and the character gets to know what it’s like being a ronin warrior facing the choice of continuing to go on or become human
He’s got more of a soul, a pathos along with being multifaceted
The fight sequence during the bullet train is very intense
Yukio’s power of seeing people’s deaths is interesting but weighs heavily on her, a very lively performance by Rila Fukushima
Although the other mutant Viper who is immune to every poison could’ve been better and some things in here I had trouble getting on board with particularly the adamantium
Plus from what I’ve heard they didn’t exactly do the Silver Samurai justice mainly the climax (should’ve been a bit bigger)
The Japanese perspective from Americans is a bit complicated when it comes to diversity
But they do go a bit more hardcore here, one scene in particular actually almost made me flinch cause it matched the maturity of the comics
Jackman does wonders as usual having this character go further on a beaten path figuring out how to live, he’s not only haunted by death but by life’s eternal struggle
Mangold’s direction allows him to have the character be more grounded rather than be strictly tied to the X-Men universe surrounding
It feels less comic book-like being a more dramatic human piece with strong performers

    movie turns 6 today!
Still an improvement over 2009’s entry
    Love the Japan setting
That twist though could’ve been handled better plus I heard they didn’t do Silver Samurai justice
But it’s good Yukio’s vision came true in a way by the time Logan came out

The part that confused me the most is the casting of such mediocre looking Japanese women. Just like they cast that average looking Japanese girl in Pacific Rim. There are sooo many beautiful Japanese women and they cast one that looks like a 12 year old and has these weird cheekbones that make her face look like a triangle. The ladies get Hugh Jackman, why do us guys get this cosplay reject crap?

So only ugly women know how to act? Give me a break. And they cast jessica alba in Fantastic Four because she is an amazing actress. lol

These women are heavily sexualized in these roles already, that isn't my doing. The one in wolverine is dressed like a schoolgirl for crying out loud. Despite clearly not being one.

Absolutely hate the PG-13 rating. hate the fact that there STILL ISNT A WOLVERINE OUTFIT...hello!? WHERE IS HIS WOLVERINE OUTFIT, WHERE IS HIS MASK!!?? I hate these fckin movies!
