Homelander is a perfect villain he has a good tragic backstory with wanting to be genuinely loved but also has a superiority complex and is almost pure evel
exactly. the fact that he is irredeemable evil yet we can see the reasons why and understand him makes him a villain up there with the likes of Anakin/Vader.
