Interesting interpretation. Wasn't expecting Dr. Scott to be such a presence on stage; it's a given for FNF (Go Terrence Mann btw.), so it came as a surprise with Dr. Everrett "Strangelove" Scott here. Nice Columbia too.
In the film yes but this is the 2001 Broadway revival of the show that it started out as. If they did the exact same thing as the film what's the point in a revival? Plus Frank had been blonde before the movie came out when Tim Curry did it in London.
@123Thehayes Only his hairdresser knew for sure. Tim Curry had black hair. Dr. Frank's has been everything from red to blond, depending on the production.
I don't know when I thought about this, but does this intentionally have references to Elton John's hit Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting? A couple of the sounds that I really like Are the sounds of a switchblade and a motorbike
HMMM. Why did they have so many different people playing the different roles? Two Colombias? I know one was Joan Jett, and one of the narrators was gilbert godfry? The only people who seem to be in all the videos is the guy who played frankenfurter, brad and Janet. The rest seem switched around.
mostly ruins the song to me, its my fav from the movie even from the play sound track this just nah doesnt work for me. amazing effort from all involed .
Interesting revival interpretation of the song. This Dr. Scott has amazing stage presence unlike most shows I've seen. haha
yea totally, this Dr Scott is on fire :D
@dunskie The audience participation is what makes this show the spectacle that it is.....
This guy easily has to be one of my favorite Dr. Scotts

@shanmer391 They were referring to Dr. Scott, played by Lea DeLaria. She's on the cast recording.

Love the Dr. Strangelove glove on Dr. Scott!
Don't know if anyone will reply, but is there any clip(s) or even audio with James Stovall as Eddie?
I love that he's dressed up like Doctor Strangelove
Could you put up "Planet, Schmanet, Janet/ Hot Dog"? It's thesong RIGHT after this one.

Not the night, but the day. Not ???, but trouble. Not the rose but the thorn.

0:11 - 0:14 Pull yourself together, Frankie, and STOP THE DRAMA!
@scipwraec Isn't eddie and the Doc usually the same person?
2024 🎉❤
@NKD2508 Sebastin Bach was Riff Raff when I saw the show. Is this Terrance Mann's channel?

@dunskie >> I believe they used the Transylvanians to do the call-backs in this number.
When I saw this Eddie and the doc was a woman and riff raff was sebastian Bach, columbia was different as well. BUT THIS SHOW WAS AMAZING
Fucking! TAKE! ME! TO! CHURCH!!!!!!!!!

Brian McFeely they had lots of replacements and understudies during this production

FRANK FURTER had black hair
He had blond hair in 1973
The doc was a woman? Interesting.
I don't think this guy knows anything about Eddie.
He doesn't like Rock & Roll. He's more into Pop/Indie Pop. And he also would rather be called "Ed".
The call back thing does not work on a live show. Shut up audience!
dunskie in some aspects it does
