You've got to see Montezuma Well near Rimrock, AZ

  • What a hidden gem this place is! I've driven by the sign for this place dozens of times and never bothered to check it out. Until now.
    Montezuma Well gets its name from a massive spring-fed "well" located just a few hundred yards from the parking lot. If you like ruins, this place is a must-see. There are a bunch of them here, built in the walls of the well and on the grounds adjacent to the well. Make sure you watch till the end of the video to see where the runoff water goes.

    I'm from Flagstaff. I'm 48 and I still have not checked that out and I drive down 17 at least once a week and only stop in Rim Rock cuz gas is cheaper there compared to Flagstaff. Yeah pretty sad, I know. Anyway great video and definitely going to make the trip next time I pass through the Verde Valley. You did a great job with the video. I've liked and subscribed to your channel. Keep up with the good material.

    The water also has s high arsenic content and is 64 degrees. I was back there yesterday. 02/10/2023
