When I was researching Islam as a Catholic I watched a lot of Ahmed Deedat and Dr Zakir Naik, they were a huge influence on me deciding to accept Islam Alhamdulillah.
May Allah grant them the highest Jannah! 🤲🏼
One died after lot of suffering, the other one is an absconding criminal, who said eat pig and behave like a pig ( WHAT !!!! eat goat and behave like a goat 🐐) 😂

I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.) They (the Prophet's companions) said, 'Not even you, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?' He said, "Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me." So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah."
It happens to everyone. That is the work of our avowed enemy shaitan. He confuses you when you are even performing salat. In such circumstances how I have overcome it is to say " Au zubi 'Lahi mina shitani razeem several times and you will be surprised that you overcome the situation easily.

I always laugh when I see the term "ex-christian" because people rarely use it. That's because it's very normal for Christians, globally, to abandon their religion. In Islam, If a calamity befalls a person, their sins are being wiped away and Allah’s mercy is bestowed. So you may think it was a punishment but it’s actually the opposite.

Who is this allah that Mohammed worshiped? We read that in the year 624 AD Mohammed changed the direction of prayer to the Kaaba. At that time the Kaaba was a place of pagan idol worship. So Mohammed bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idol worship where some 360 idol gods were being worshipped there at that time. We know from the Bible that our God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never have condoned that one of his prophets would have bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idols. So clearly Mohammed’s allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So who is Mohammed’s allah who is happy to be worshipped as “the god” amongst some 360 pagan idol gods? All we know for sure is that Mohammed’s allah is not our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible.

And Mohammed believed that the black stone will come to life on judgement day and witness for or against the people just like the pagans did. Now we know that our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible would never have allowed one of HIS prophets to bow down in worship to a shrine dedicated to pagan idol gods which clearly proved that Mohammed’s allah was not our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible and that proves that Mohammed was a false prophet my friend.
And of course our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible is the God of everyone as there is only ONE GOD. But Mohammed rejected our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible and decided instead to follow the pagan worship practices he had witnessed when living in Mecca. Again this proves that Mohammed as not a prophet of God which makes Mohammed a false prophet my friend.

Ahmed Deedat, may God have mercy on him, even as I was born a Muslim, I watched most of his debates and repeated them a lot, because I can't get enough of watching him because he is unique of his kind and he is the lion of the dawah, and I don't think time will bestow upon us the same. Even Zakir Naik, who is his student, by the way, does not reach even half because he is shy and does not have the toughness of his teacher

I respect this brother and may Allah bless him. Speaking for myself, being of Christian background, I would never describe myself as an ex-Christian. That's because the more I learned about Christianity, the more I realized I was not a "Christian" and never was one in the Pauline sense. Christianity is the religion of Paul and not Jesus, peace be upon him. I don't believe I left my faith, I only evolved it, moving beyond Christianity to Islam. Thus "Christianity" is a part of my journey, one that I am very grateful for. People who describe themselves as "ex" something do so with animosity, hatred, unreasonableness, emotional weakness and/or dissociation. I don't have an ounce of hatred for Christianity, Christians or my former self or beliefs. I'm proud of my background, and my family, even many of them violently opposed my reversion and threatened to kill me. But I'm willing to die for the truth. I only oppose some beliefs of "Christianity" and view Paul as an Anti-Christ but I love Jesus and the people who love him.

Zakir was a student of Syaikh Ahmad Deedat for religion comparisson. He had followed him and even appeared in some of Ahmad Deedat's lectures (debate), in the same stage.
At one point, Ahmad Deedat even brought about Zakir Naik in on of his QA session, telling that Zakir Naik has better memorization than him on several different scriptures.
Only a man with knowledge will succeed to jannah ,the paradise ,may Allah Almighty always give you the truth knowledge Daniel.

I remember more than a decade ago there were some debates and many lectures of sheikh Ahmed deedat may Allah grant him mercy on TH-cam and every Ramadan i would watch one before bed...and it saddened me that the number of views on those videos were not that much and I thought that his work and research was unfortunately going to waste and that it was a matter of time before all this treasures will be lost in the tumult of TH-cam floating nonsense....but I forgot that Allah is the best of planners ....and now I realize that Ahmed deedat was sowing the seeds and that a seed needs time to become a tree and bear fruit. Because the job he did is just unimaginable at that time. I mean the Islamic world has just come out of colonialism and was still suffering from inferiority complex towards this economically, militarily, culturaly , mediaticaly superior West...and Deedat had the courage to face all of this ...of course his knowledge about the Bible was just overwhelming, his speaking skills and hard word at his age are amazing.... I think he laid the foundations of Muslim christian dialogue that is going on today . By the way Zakir naik was studying under Ahmed deedat. And by the way...a tree is not only : branches trunk and leaves you can add roots and fruits ....
His arguments have largely been demolished. As for the fruits of him, just see the attitude of the gentleman of the video and the comments under the "debates" of this "master". St The fruits are hatred, confrontation and mockery of the beliefs of others. And if you like these fruits......

Deedat challenged a Christians with whom he was debating that God should silence the one who did not speak the truth. A short time after this debate Deedat had a stroke and could no longer speak. Seems to clearly show who was speaking the truth.

@Glitter Where do you read that Nabeel said that Jesus would heal him? And of course Nabeel preached the Gospel until he died. Now if Nabeel had not been convinced that Jesus would save him then Nabeel would have gone back to islam. And Jesus saving means that Nabeel will have eternal life in heaven.
Deedat was bed-ridden for the last 10 years of his life. He surely had enough time to repent. The issue was that Deedat challenged God and God showed that Deedat was not speaking the truth about Jesus. So Deedat will not have eternal life in heaven which means he will be in the other place.
As Deedat could not speak and had great problems communicating, I doubt if anyone truly listened to him.
So tell me, why do you believe that following Mohammed will get you or anyone else to heaven?

So Mohammed bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idol worship where some 360 idol gods were being worshipped there at that time. We know from the Bible that our God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never have condoned that one of his prophets would have bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idols. So clearly Mohammed’s allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So who is Mohammed’s allah who is happy to be worshipped as “the god” amongst some 360 pagan idol gods? All we know for sure is that Mohammed’s allah is not our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible.
