And trust me guys with all the deception software you have to buy to hear the cops you ain't missing nothing you spend all this money on deception software breaking the key code and it's just chatter that's all it is all the big stuff is on the news anyway I think it's a waste of money wow big deal broke the decryption code just to hear a bunch of chatter it's been a ridiculous amount of money just for that absolutely stupid turn on the news for free and here basically the same thing know what happened in the incident
There are so many different agencies that can break into encrypted radio traffic FBI NSA CIA department of defense okay let's not forget the people that are extremely smart that know how to hack into stuff but even if you have the knowledge the equipment the money to purchase all this stuff are you going to hear is a bunch of jibber jabber jabber chatter you can turn on the local news and they'll tell you everything you need to know about that incident
For the price. You’d think Uniden would post a firmware fix for the keypad. The SDS 100 is a great scanner, but......
It is a great scanner, but yeah it still has some faults.
First off I appreciate the video second all completely understand that you really like this radio but good God man if somebody took shot every time you said it was the best radio they would be dead
Haha
A bit of enthusiasm wouldn’t hurt. 436 is a brilliant machine and I use mine more than my sds100 because the sds has a retarded battery arrangement. At least with the 436 you can get aa batteries anywhere. Not so with the sds. Pick up your game.
Thank you for the feedback! We will keep a note about that for 2022.
do not care what a scanner does there is no justification for the price of 649.00. would like a new one but not at that price.
Sadly there are no new scanners at the moment.
this scanner work in usa and canada only no other country... do not waste your money ☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️
This would vary based on frequency and encryption. I am sorry if this did not work for you but you can reach out to us and we can check on a scanner that will work for you.
Up in my area you really don't pick anything up they are not worth having anymore nothing exciting on them... not like the old days
Hey Brad, yes it's depends on where you are.
I need 800mhz radio
I would recommend the SDS100.
I see repeated references to a 'widget' on your website that will magically tell you what scanner will work in your area. I can't find this widget. Instead, I see a form that harvests your personal information, which is obviously parsed by a human being, thus generating a back channel of communication with a sales lead. Why are you being disingenuous about the automated nature of the widget you're promoting instead of simply answering the question? Shady.
Frequency and location keeps changing. The information requested on our site helps us to narrow down the frequencies you want so we can provide a more direct and detailed answer. We can assure you that your information is not shared.
I promise not to use the scanner for criminal engineering please turn "9ff" encryption 😊
Thanks for the feedback on that!
Hi Guys 😍💋 💝💖
Thanks haha
UK Police cannot be scanned
We don't have the database of the UK so we can't determine for sure why you can pick up Police.
Most areas have encryption systems so scanners are useless
Depends on where you are because some counties still have plenty of frequencies to monitor.
You can't listen to the cops firemen,or ambulance service up here in Canada
No good for UK and Ireland
We can't really know since we only have the database of USA and Canada.
Cant.hear police anymore
Chances are they may have gone encrypted. You can call us at 737-777-9876 and we will be happy to help answer that for you.
OVER PRICED
Scanners are expensive.
