Even though 5-6 movies criticising/ridiculing NTR were produced by Krishna , there were. NO reported incidence of NTR reacting against those movies. NTR never asked Krishna as to how many more satirical movies (on NTR ) were still coming up but he asked this question to Vijaya Nirmala. NTR finally dropped the idea of making Alluri Seetaramaraju ( ASR ) after watching Krishna’s movie, which was screened exclusively for NTR at his request. NTR appreciated the movie by saying that nobody else could have produced better than Krishna’s ASR.
krishna may be a good human being but a worst actor who just rode on his luck with some jamesbond movies being hit the bulls eye and as far as ASR is concermed it was full of fiction but not actual and that is why NTR did not want to divert history as krishna did.As the name of ASR carries weight,people might have accepted that movie and in fact that subject would have been a hit with any other actor also aswell.Krishna only wanted to show his upmanship but failed miserably with the super flops of Devadas and kurukshetram. And even in the case of Simhasanam,what krishna did was to allow the theatres to keep the boxes without returning to the dostributors and to permit the theatres to run other movies to show the public that the movie was a massive hit For example I can name Macherla and.Narasaraopet where the boxes of Simhasanam used to lie idle but the distributors got compensated.In any way GSRK was way below NTR and.ANR
