Great song....also a great solo intro by Al, who is a phenomenal player!! This whole concert is a musical feast for the ears....so well done, with fantastic musicianship all around. The dvd frequently finds it's way into my player 🙂 🎸🥁🎵🎶🤘🙏
I listen to this version of the song because of the back vocals. The girl in the back is singing the main lyrics and backup vocals and she's singing them so beautifully! I absolutely love it! Incredible singing by her
I had the privilege to see Alice Cooper in 2012 opening up for Iron Maiden and wow I was blown away! He sure does put on one hell of a show.. I’ll never forget it
Shows without iphones, no cameras, no special effect, no wall screens, no playback, no PC backing tracks. PURE MUSIC TO THE BONE!!! thats why this period will be remembered for ever!
had the pleasure of seeing him at louder than life 2022. Never will forget that. It was the show that got me hooked on cooper. He has been rocking for almost 60 years and acts like he lost none of his energy!
I graduated at 18 and Alice had just hit with "I'm 18" and "Schools Out" we went "Stooopid" and he came in concert to our area in Anaheim, CA 1973 all at the same time. He was hanging himself in those days... just jaw dropping ear busting good times and music.
I saw the Coop in 1973 at the North Carolina Motor Speedway in Rockingham, NC. Also on the bill was Black Oak Arkansas and The Marshall Tucker Band. I'll never forget it.
This was one of my favorite songs. I really enjoyed listening to it. The audience loves it. The band played well together, and Alice is a great singer. This song will be heard from one generation to another.
So glad my big brother turned me on to some of the best rock n roll there was! Hes in heaven now but hes seeing me still loyal to my tunes and smiling while shaking his head. I miss and love you Shaun!
Alice is the coolest guy on Earth. Please Alice come to Croatia....and to mention...this is my favourite songs ....when I heard that song for the first time, when was released, I knew...Alice Cooper is the one....and from that time I become his true and for the lifetime fan....
The other guitarist that isn't gettin no love on here, is the amazing Pete Freezin' (Friesen), a long time member with Alice. He carries all the main riffs and lets Al do the showing off. Together, they're absolutely magical.
Devon Meade- they don't focus on her much here, but that little babe is rocking out and really enjoying the songs. Her lilting highs fly out over the sound. I love her. She made a wonderful evil nurse, too.
+DemiLiard Yes! It totally is! He has even admitted so himself! BTW "Trash" is a pretty apt name for the entire album.. He should never have hired Desmond Child, but continued from Raise Your Fist And Yell imo
randomdubbys Today? I don't like the guitarists of today. They are just not like the old days. Everyone old says things like this I guess. Why who do you like to listen to and why?
randomdubbys I will check them out dude. I always like Van Halen, Rhoads and Oliva. Criss Oliva Savatage was really awesome. Listen to Hall of the Mountain King. Tell me what you think about the music. The video is hilarious in a cheesy way as well.
This was epic! One of the best guitarists Alice Cooper has ever had!,... From the intro to the whole song, this is the best version of poison till this date.
Love this song very long time, found this performance today, fantastic as ever, so, happy B-day 04th of February to our unbelievabel and unforgotten Alice Cooper here right now !!!!!!!!!!
Excellent Track! This One Will Live On forever! Here's GREAT CHEERS!, yo to the Man!LIVING ARTIST! FLAWLESSLY MOVES VOCALIZES ON THIS GEM! DEF. ONE OF YOUR FINEST TRACKS! ALICE COOPER! 🎸🎤
That's the hot little Devon Meade. She also played the evil nurse that he strangles in Dwight Fry, the hooker, she's all through the show. She can hit those high notes like an angel.
Alice Cooper Россия знает твои песни, я на них вырос и благодаря этому стал музыкантом! Мне уже 52 года, здесь пишу на русском языке, чтобы люди во всём мире читали и видели, что тебя здесь любят!
The way Trash brought AC back is just crazy. He is still riding the wave of this album's success.
His hair is fabulous and his voice holy shit
Ikr I agree he's got better hair than me ahaha 😂
not much about his voice tho
Not only is the shredding in the solo amazing and clean, but the phrasing and melody is incredible.
Al Pitrelli one of the best guitarists ever and he was also the musical director for this tour
One of the best that almost no one knows. Killer career
@@wesbates1143 lmao
Yes, he’s amazing! I’ve seen him 15 times with the TSO West Coast group.❤
Great song....also a great solo intro by Al, who is a phenomenal player!!

Alice Cooper always does great live. Very talented vocals with an incredibly underrated guitar player.
Check out a 2021 live version of this and the background singers are AWFUL. This is GREAT!!
Which guitar player is underrated? He’s had (and still has) lots of them.
@@nadogrl I think Al Pitrelli is the best he has had
@@CourtWatchAu - No argument there.❤️
@@nadogrl yeah Al is great
I was there. NEC, Birmingham 1989. An epic night.
Man, I wish I was not swimming in my daddy's sack at the time.
I was only 10 but my parents knew I loved this song.
Hope Scandinoval I had the same problem. My dad went to Alice Cooper AC DC and Nirvana I think but I was still in his Balls so annoying
Anthony Hamblin this was in Birmingham? which one? UK or Alabama?
I think it was in UK.
Poison is one of the greatest songs from Alice Cooper. Never break these chains ⛓
That intro solo was unbelievable 🤩
"We're not worthy!"

Best scene in the movie for me
Wayne’s world

Pitrelli is amazing and the background vocals made this the best live version!! Alice rocks!
Alice cooper is Dave mustaines godfather and petrelli used to play in megadeth. Kinda cool fact
I listen to this version of the song because of the back vocals. The girl in the back is singing the main lyrics and backup vocals and she's singing them so beautifully! I absolutely love it! Incredible singing by her

Love the keyboard work and the backing singers on this. Makes it a even better performance.
the world will never hear music like this again 😔
The other guitarist that isn't gettin no love on here, is the amazing Pete Freezin' (Friesen), a long time member with Alice. He carries all the main riffs and lets Al do the showing off.

Poison has never been my favorite Alice Cooper song, but this performance of the song is awesome.
Alice Cooper rules, best glam solo artist ever
Trash is totally not a sell-out,
Alice Cooper, Sebastian Bach and Dee Snider are top 3 for me. This song certainly makes him number one in my book.
Shock not glam
frikideloguay V.2. Do you know David Bowie?
+DemiLiard Yes! It totally is! He has even admitted so himself!
BTW "Trash" is a pretty apt name for the entire album.. He should never have hired Desmond Child, but continued from Raise Your Fist And Yell imo
This line up was special

I think it's a best part of video :)
The female backing singer elevates this song to a whole new level.
Alice Cooper is one of the biggest influences to rock music imo, right there with elvis, chuck berry, buddy holly, the beatles and few others.
LOL
@@rockyruane9379 I think he meant Desmond Child, the guy who was most responsible for the careers of most 80s hard rock bands.
wow poison live sounds so good, it fires me up
The whole band was on fire in this show, damnnn.. such great memories
Saw Alice Cooper in 1990 on this tour. It was amazing. Fantastic show
