So sad that he died, but he left behind one hell of a legacy. His singing will continue to inspire others for years. I just hope that the rest of the band can reform one day and start something new.

I suggest Waiting for the End, The Messenger or Crawling( acoustic version). “ But I know you were just like me with someone disappointed in you”. I’ve always thought this song was about someone who was trying to be themselves, but who was being berated into being someone they are not. They become numb to any emotion. Good reaction.
When Chester died Jay Z did a tribute to Chester at the end of his concerts with the Numb/Encore song and then reminded his fans to check on their loved ones because you never know what they are going through. Jay Z was friends with Chester and Mike. Jay Z was very very much in awe of what Chester could do with his voice. If you watch the first concert that Jay Z did with Linkin Park at the Roxy theater in Los Angeles CA in 2004. You will see Jay Z's reaction to a mildly crazy live Chester. If you want to see Chester at his craziest point then watch A Place for my Head live in Texas.
The MP might have been referring to Chester's dad, who I believe was a police officer, & who Chester had a difficult relationship with...don't quote me on it though. I love Numb! Actually I always blame myself for not diving deeper into their catalogue. I know the real fans of LP were devastated with the loss of Chester and found it very hard to listen to Mike Shinoda and the album they dedicated to Chester because they sing about the concert they have to do without him that was already planned before and supposed to be done with him. If I’m wrong you are welcome to correct me. On your Falling in Reverse reaction you said that the sound reminded you of Linkin Park- well you were right- the diversity is similar and the capability of both singers to switch between smooth sweet melodies to an incredible growl which takes the emotions to another level.
