I’d say HOI4’s bias towards Europe makes comparisons like this a little hard. HOI4 works well when your taking it in context as a WW2 game but it does have a little too much bias towards the European front in the base game.

When more ice has melted and a sea invasion from the north is possible, the EU will defeat Russia with ease.
