I am a heavy rider 260 pounds using stock air shock on begode t4 at above 300 PSI and it has shown no issues. I've hit drops of about 18 inches. I like it so much I'm thinking about getting the t4 pro just to have two.
Unfortunately after a few drops of 3+ feet on singletrack my air shock has started leaking. I will be updating my saga, but with a new linkage when it arrives.
I just got a ex30 and I love it its Like a big t4. I love my t4 I think it's a wheel people over look alot but at the price point and what you get I feel the t4 is one of the best options out there
Begode released a T4 pro recently with a new motor that has 25% more torque at lower speeds! I will receive it in e view weeks and I am already hyped. You also get the new 24 MOSFET Motherboard and the same raptor controler that is already in the Begode extreme.
Great video! Very informative. I've been researching about how to improve the suspension on my T4, and its proving to be a tad difficult. I am rocking the stock shock and linkage. I also weight in at 140lbs. I don't do off-roading or big jumps, I mostly do city riding with occasional curb hops. Although the city has crappy roads with small bumps and cracks. I want to improve the feel over them. Would you recommend upgrading to coil? If so, what lb should I try, and would stock linkage work with those coils? Perhaps I could stay with the air shock, but upgrade the linkage? I'm not sure which combination would be best for my style of riding. Any input would be amazing, thanks!
I would probably upgrade the linkage first, and that should make the air shock perform the way you need it to. I don't really see a coil as much of an upgrade as just a functionally different system.
But if is more prone to bottom out why dose the master bottoms out way easier then the T4? I am a casual rider so i dont want an air shock because it needs more maintenance compared to a spring one

Very good 👍
Did you use the 190mm? Will it fit the stock linkage? Would you have a link to the linkage you used?
It's simply the Nylon9ve linkage they've only made one so far. It is 190mm shock, you can also use 200mm.
