Hey Rob another great Video! I just had a couple of questions. Lets say you want to launch a designer/high fashion brand would you: - Need a very large range of products when starting out - And is it better to import your clothes using from another country i.e. korea or china as I heard it is really cheap to get clothing made over there?
My advice is to start with low inventory and only release your absolute best designs (even if this means only 2 or 3). The reason being that you don’t want to over-invest in inventory before you have real-life evidence of what’s actually selling. I’d source your clothing locally at first - then if you start selling a lot you can go over seas to buy bigger quantities at a steep discount. But the first year or so is really testing out products, learning about your brand, and sculpting everything. No need to be focused on hyper-profitability at first!

In youre experience is the best location that gives a brand a desginer feel for example is it better to have a "made in China" tag or is it better to pick a Country in the European market such as Italy or France?
