They been putting V8s in the Moggy for many years in the UK. The rover V8 3.5 was always favored. With the Jag IRS. Most used the Vauxhall Viva HA front end. Lots had a roof chop. Good to see one still rolling. I was 16 at the time. I'm 60 now. I guess it was a Englishman that got VW rolling again after the war so we let you off on the tail lights. But originals would look cool. Pinterest got plenty pics. Great job on the build. I know it's hard to get these vehicles street legal in Aus. I watch Copperhead Customs. He gets um legal. A decent quality woodrim steering wheel will have an aluminium rim sandwiched between the wooden bits anyway.
