Alright I sense another trend about to happen so to clarify yes I know welt has regenerated his body before. And I knew that while making this. I’m making the bold claim something will be powerful enough to prevent him from doing so or just outright eliminate him, because what’s one of these videos without a hot take lol
Got it. It would have to be one of the most powerful Emanators or an Aeon in order to do that. We still have yet to see him actually try. The only reason he hasn't yet is because of plot, which is slightly annoying. Hopefully we will get to see him go full out in the future. He should at least be relative to an Emanator in power because of his Divine Key, which has feats in the manga that are ridiculous even without him being a Herrscher. So he would have to be going up against a strong enough Emanator or even an Aeon for him to be killed.
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 To be fair to Welt, the man can't just go casually dropping world ending black holes on people to settle relatively trivial disputes. Even Penacony didn't amount to high enough stakes to be worth potentially spaghettifying an entire planet just to win a couple of moderately difficult fights. If he ever did go all out, though, oh boy. I'm confident he could cook Acheron if he really tried, although I'm also confident that everything else in a thousand kilometer radius would fare just as poorly, hence his restraint thus far in the story.
@@flarpo11 I agree. I'm hoping that's what is stopping him, as that's more logical than just plot. It's just that because Hoyoverse hasn't allowed him to go all out yet, people who don't know about his past or Star of Eden severely underestimate his level of power even without being in his prime. If he willed it, Penacony could be deleted entirely. The only time he ever considered using Star of Eden was against Adventurine, but Acheron stepped up before he could spawn a blackhole. My guess is because Himeko was there. As for why he didn't against Sunday, it's probably because they broke out of the dreamscape to fight him, meaning the blackhole wouldn't be contained by a dreamscape like before, and could destroy the planet. Only time will tell, but I can't wait until they finally let him unleash Star of Eden at full power.
Tbf, when he was the HoR you was able to regenerate his body but he no longer has the core of reason. Much moar than that is spoilery.

Well, Xueyi is in fact dead and dies all the time in her job, the Ten-Lords Commission just resurrects her. Her and Hanya are extremely old even for the Xienzhou, Xueyi can’t get mara-stuck in her robot body, and Hanya constantly drinks memory erasing wine to protect herself from the burdens of the people’s memories she’s judging
I'm pretty sure memory erasure helps prevent mara stuck considering it stops what mara actually does

Xuei is dead already. She literally got her puppet body damaged two times in the story.
She dies literally every day and apprehends criminals to be given half a day to live.
One of the lightcones with Xuei is Hanya literally holding her dead body.
I don't know if she should be in dead on purgatory because honestly her "living" situation is awful and can be barely called that.

Black Swan - yeah she's totally safe. (Meanwhile, Black Swan be trying to forget her dance with Acheron)
Mostly accurate list besides a few that I'll list with some brief explanations.
Going to die - Misha (has been dead for quite a long time rip😭)
Blade tier - Xueyi (literally goes thru near death experiences or actually does die but gets revived by Ten Lords Commission), Boothill (hes a wanted criminal by the IPC so hes constantly on the run), maybe Acheron (as powerful as she is, shes trying to kill IX, an Aeon, which is virtually almost impossible unless u reach aeonhood)
Injured - Fu Xuan (she will either be employed with Jing Yuan in the fight against Nanook which has been hinted at by Kafka like way back when or staying back and getting attacked by the Legion but she will mostly like suffer some injuries but none life threatening),
Probably safe - Black Swan (just based on intuition but she will definitely be relatively safe in the story)
What I’ve gathered is that you don’t like the chaos gremlins ie Sampo and Sparkle

This isn't a bad list, but I don't see Welt actually dying. Himeko I could maybe see, but that would only happen if Welt isn't there to protect her or they are facing an Aeon or super powerful Emanator. Also, since Welt still has the core, he is technically immortal unless it is destroyed, although that's operating on the assumption that he has enough Honkai energy left to recreate his body like he did in the game and manga. I also would put Acheron in going to die because her plans are to kill IX. Also, there are stronger Emanators out there such as Diamond who might humble her in a 1v1. I think her entire thing being Nihility is a death flag for her. She might get overconfident with her power and die fighting another Emanator or Aeon. Other than this, it's a pretty good list.
Uh, note, but Herrscher cores are literally indestructible. They are, actually, just crystalized masses of honkai, that form around an infinite tap for the energy of a literal extradimensional force, that envelops *the entirety* of existence in wider Hoyo canon. And the core of reason in particular is a little special, cause it stores the consciousness of the people related to it. So, legitimately, though it may take him a while to come back, you *cannot* kill Welt Yang, unless he lets you.
@nemasisdemarini8339 This is all true except for the part about cores being indestructible. Herrscher cores are indeed able to be destroyed. Welt's core specifically holds energy akin to a supernova within it. In the Second Eruption manga, Welt threatened Sirin with it, saying he would blow it up and cause a supernova in the process. According to the Durandal VN, the HoR core also has enough Honkai energy within it to create an entire Solarsystem. The only Herrscher core that has infinite energy is the CoF, which is itself the core of Finality, which is the God of all Herrschers and the creator of Herrschers and Honkai energy. Yes, the other cores have an infinite source of energy to pull from, aka the Imaginary Tree. But, not all cores can contain infinite energy and are finite. You can think of Herrscher cores as cosmic batteries that hold set amounts of Honkai energy. They charge to full power once connected to the Imaginary Tree using Imaginary energy converted from the CoF. But the amount they each hold has a limit. In Welt and Sirin's case, their Herrscher cores had an upper limit of Honkai energy equalvilent to an Either Anchor, meaning they held power to create or destroy a Solarsystem in their primes. It was also mentioned in the Durandal VN that later Herrschers could control and hold even more Honkai energy, which held true in the game with Herrschers like HoTr, HoO, and HoFi.
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 Sorry, I should have said practically. You can break the gem that comprises the herrscher core, relatively easily. But the actual core is essentially just a spatial coordinate, where honkai energy pours into the world from. That's why herrcher cores can seemingly manifest at random. It's also why Mei was able to reclaim the Gem of Conquest, since the source of honkai located inside of her had a higher priority, so to speak, over the one that was located in the current gem that Kiana had. It simply had been dormant until she was able to get it kickstarted, but that was primarily by her own will. But this also inversely means that, even if the gem is completely destroyed, so long as the spatial coordinate that comprises the core function of the gem is not contained or overridden in some way, then it will eventually either reform or reconverge on itself.
Also, an infinite tap of something, doesn't really mean that they have access to an infinite output. Just that they will never actually run out, even if they can seemingly exhaust the supply temporarily. It's a matter of through-put, rather than reserve, in that case.

My understanding is this isn't true anymore. He has no way to get Honkai energy in HSR so the core doesn't do much anymore. Someone I read said he states in HSR somewhere in his dialogue that "he’d like to show you his power sometime, however he struggles to even barely make scenes of animation with it now" showing all he really has left his is cane's power and what he himself can do.
True. Even though he is no longer a Herrscher he should still have enough Honkai energy to pull off his body recreation feat he has in the past. As long as he has the core, he is basically unkillable. I mean, the man has already died twice before, so dying again wouldn't be anything new to him. Considering Mihoyo's track record of killing Himeko in both Ggz and Hi3, I feel like it might happen again in HSR. Welt might get injured, but I don't think they would kill him off unless it's a self sacrifice for Himeko. The thing is, he would have to be facing something on the level of a powerful Emanator or Aeon to actually kill him.
@@NoidsEdstromWelt isn't struggling to use his powers. His dialouge says that he can show the MC some episodes of Arahato using his HoR powers, but he can't guarantee the animations quality or resolution. This isn't really a problem of having enough Honkai energy, because the quality of things that HoR makes depends on its user.
Also, it doesn't make sense for Welt to waste honkai energy just to show the MC an animation, since the IMG tree also exists in HsR it's not entirely impossible that welt is getting honkai energy from there.
@@NoidsEdstromi doubt that.This universe is connected to the imaginary tree and even some of the genius society members have been researching the imaginary tree.This also means there is definitely honkai energy in hsr.You can see he uses his black hole to protect mc which indicates there is honkai energy
Before any one say anything else the imaginary/ honkai energy exist in hsr and the aeon as basically made out of imaginary energy and welt is still the herrscher of reason because he has his core in hsr and when welt says that it may don’t have the best resolution he means that the image may not be as good as when they see on their phone
Who’s definitely in the coffin is a version of Yae Sakura, I don’t get love from him in the way he speaks to the coffin in his lightcone or his dialogue, he seems to have a completely non-romantic obligation that he takes seriously, and he would absolutely protect the love of Kallen’s life, also, Yae Sakura was trapped in a box for 500 years after she was corrupted, I’m 70% convinced it’s 100% a Yae Sakura in there
