There's this cabin I know of. The man who built it in the 1880s was the proprietor of a nearby mine. While the mine was open, the workers were prone to many accidents; flooding, accidents with tools or falling debris. Even a murder. All of which were covered up by the owner of this cabin, bodies buried out there in the forest.
Both the mine and the cabin are still there. And in two weeks' time, I'll be hosting an overnight staying in the cabin and delving into the remains of that cursed mine.

The best scare is when nothing is seen. You know something is there and it's getting closer but nothing is seen. Even when you know it's standing right in front of you, you still see nothing at all. Then..........well the rest is up to you.

My dream is to have a cabin deep inside the woods, where the only weekly social interaction i'll have is the "thank you" to the grocery cashier of the town nearby where I purchase supplies and have a fine meal at a local diner before isolating myself for the next 6 days in the wilderness. After a long while not seeing me popping into town, people will go up to the cabin just to see it's ravaged, doors yanked off the frame and furnitures strewn about, blood smeared on the floorboards and I'm nowhere to be found. They chalk it up to a cougar, a bear breaking in, but maybe, who knows, maybe it's a skinwalker, a wendigo. etc. This music fits that fantasy of mine. Welcoming and Isolating. 10/10

Very cool!! I'm reading The Troop by Nick Cutter and wanted some spooky woods ambiance, this is absolutely perfect! The wind howling almost sounds like wind and waves of the ocean, which fits perfectly with this book as they are stranded on an island

I was having a hard time trying to nap and this helped a bunch! Might sound weird to some, but Eerie things help me sleep. I usually take a drive or a walk out in the middle of the woods, at night, but it's still daylight so this helped me just fine!
I was gonna say I don't mind the creepy woods if only I can get inside and build a fire in the cabin...but then thought what if the cabin isn't abandoned 👀 Well done, love dark woody ambiances like this, perfect while hiding in nice warm blankets!

Imagine living there, only you, tasty food, Netflix and your drums, you have a car so you can hang out with your friends or take a ride to the nearest city when you want, but you spend most of your time alone, nights of hot tea, cold and the sounds of the forest while you have fun with yourself, it would be more than lovely

I would without a doubt make sure that cabin door was locked and barred and even barricaded before I even go to sleep. Them woods sound terrifying at night.
