Maybe it's worth a whole course series to show the detailed distinctions between all the (or at least the most common) various rhythm accompaniment styles regarding voicings and stroke styles? Like 30s Hot Club rhythm, Eddie Lang swing style, 60s style a la René Duchaussois or Gérard Cardi, musette based style like early Django or early Ferret, "modern" old school like Hono Winterstein (ok we already got the dcmusicschool course for that) or Francko Mehrstein, "Gadje" rhythm like Gonzalo, 90s dry and steady like Nousche etc etc (and please a special section for Django style "on top of rhythm" accompaniment!!!)
The first time i played with the real guys I noticed i had to pick up song fast and also noticed they play different chords changes than the standard, so i took a bunch of cd and put it on no stopping try to pick up chords en vorm go to next cd like 2 and than go back do again no cheating with ireal sometimes I thought i knew the song but listened and play again like week later and i noticed sudden nuances in solo vorm little different changes that I didn’t noticed before, this i do like every day find cd i dont know and learn, so image you get invitation to play with big guys but you dont know any song but youre confident the second round you nail it, that what you have to prepare for, that what i do and i think Denis is saying , great video❤🔥🔥👍👍
Learning rhythm guitar is possible in a short time. Being masterful especially getting the details right and playing in a cooperative and supportive way for all colleagues you are jamming with is a long right to go. There are no shortcuts.
I've been playing by ear a very long time. So, learning new tunes isn't too difficult. However, live performances can have things develop on the fly. The different nuances you speak about plays a big part. 😊👍🏾🙏🏾👏🏾
No its great like playing the bass, man i love the great rhythm players like Benji Winterstein he makes the band swing so hard there are only a handfull on earth that can do that keep Going🔥 video of Denis are so great
