I have been on the carnivore diet for 5 months now, I have completely reversed my diabetes, with no medicine, I've lost 30 lbs, my blood pressure is back to normal, and I feel fantastic at 55 😎 Thank God for Dr Berry
25 month carnivore here from Northern Maine. I am doing the same thing. Also in stages. Got rid of alot but 2 years later realized there was alot of shelf stable foods and other foods that were 2yrs old. I threw it all out including all plastic containers. Many kitchen utensils, pots and pans, strainers, pie plates, etc. I went from having no room for anything to having almost all empty cabinets. The only food in the house is all in the refrigerator because real food needs refrigeration. I'm waiting for summer so I can have a yard sale to get rid of some small kitchen appliances and that will finish it. It's crazy what a minimalist carnivore makes you. Love you guys. Been watching you guys awhile and I'm a subscriber but first time I commented.
I got rid of my oven when I moved my folks into my house to care for them. They would walk away while cooking and it was unsafe.I turned carnivore 2 years ago after my folks have both passed. Since then I've just used a 2 burner induction cook top, my air fryer, a freezer and a small fridge (mostly for eggs and thawed meat for the week). The kitchen is just a handy place to do dishes and that's about it. Carnivore makes life easy...it also produces less trash and makes life tidier. It's amazing.
I agree about the reduced trash. I started noticing this summer that I am only using 1 garbage bag a week. I went years stuffing our trash bin every week. There were a few weeks that we missed trash pickup due to holidays and a break in the routine and I found myself driving to the dump. Now, our garbage bin is packed practically empty every week. Who knew that carnivore would make that much of a difference.
I did this on a smaller scale a year ago because we remodeled our kitchen. While we like the end result, we did end up with less cabinet space. It was completely freeing to see for myself all the items I hadn’t used in years and donate them. Now my kitchen only has items I use, or items of sentimental value. I was shocked with the amount I parted with. My husband is a new carnivore who depends on the carnivore breads and meals, so it is too early to do a total purge of my kitchen. Congratulations on this discovery. It is surprising how much freedom and relief we feel when we are stewarding fewer items while maintaining our lifestyles.
1. Good air fryer. 2. One pan for scrambled eggs. 3. Egg cooker. 4. Small rice cooker to make soup. 5. Small blender to make better soup. 6. Salt, cayenne, curry pdr and butter. 7. Water purifier. 8. Slow cooker. Frig, freezer & 4 food containers. That's it for me. 😊 Feels great. 👍
I haven't had a stove for 15 years. Just got a rental cabin together and no stove there...Wood stove for winter hot food but don't need more than a stainless skillet. I bought an airfryer but now the coating in it has me rethinking it. I have a rocket stove just in case...
I can relate to this video. I was always searching for the perfect kitchen utensil, gadget, pot, dish, tool, etc. I have a fantastic collection now but I don't use it when I eat carnivore. I love the simplicity of preparation and clean-up an animal based diet has but I like my now unused items too. I'm trying hard to embrace the minimalist life style in order to make all my areas of life easier, so I expect I'll re-home 95 % of my kitchen items this year. Because like you two, I don't expect to go back to any other way of eating.
WOW you two are amazing. I can’t imagine living your life style. But if it’s working for you, more power to you both. You guys look great, you seem to be glowing with health. Wishing you both a very Happy New Year. 🎆🎊
Do not get rid of the Le Creuset dutch oven!! It's great for slow cooking meat! Because of the grandkids coming over and family we will most likely be keeping most things.....but the spices, you're right, those can go! And if you ever get into homemade soap with your home purified beef tallow, you'll want that immersion blender!!
I've been carnivore for 2yrs. I just bought a dutch oven because I batch cook the meat once a week and I didn't have enough pans for a week's worth of meat. My millennial aged daughter tried to talk me into giving her my kitchen aid mixer because the older mixers have metal parts inside. I'm not ready to give it up yet. 😅
I’ve been on this as long as you guys all I use is my air fryer. I don’t use any other utensil except one little small egg pan when I want scrambled eggs that’s it. That’s all I ever use one small pan egg pan and my air fryer that’s it. I love this diet. People think I’m crazy but I love it. I’m still losing weight still feeling better than I’ve ever felt in my life.
It's kind of funny how you use to rescue other people's discarded things (fix up and sell) to wanting to get rid of all your stuff. I have a really hard time getting rid of things because I grew up not having anything. I'm getting better at it, though.
Hello from Michigan :) The two of you are such a hoot! I enjoy your channel greatly. 20 months carnivore (occasional ketovore) and have discovered/ doing the same thing, in stages also. I figure by this point... Justin Case is not coming to visit :D My spice rack is a large double tier lazy susan and is the one area that I'm having difficulty clearing out for some reason. I do make pickled eggs and use those spices regularly. As far as the rest, including black pepper (which I LOVE), they are no longer used. I just boxed up my food spiraling thingy last week for donation lol I am keeping my small food processor as I've seen videos on how to make 'chips' with meat. I miss crunchy foods sometimes so... I will explore the meat chips option before deciding about my food processor :) My small crock pot remains also. Good for pot luck events when I want to cook up some meat to take (pulled pork usually). I like to put 1 T unsalted butter in my homemade bone broth and blend it with my immersion blender. So creamy and yummy! Carnivore is so incredibly healthy and so simple!
Happy New Year!!! I need to do some decluttering in my kitchen, too! I'm using my 2nd Ninja air fryer. The first one died. I'm not sure that I want to go to carnavore yet. I love my fruits and vegetables too much! I'm keeping my diabetes in the low numbers with OTC medicine. I miss seeing Puddy on her channel!
Adding to my previous comment... The other thing that is great about carnivore eating is the simple kitchen clean up. Just wash the airfryer basket, or whatever, a plate, your done.
Chuck steaks have been a game changer! Once or twice a week I cook some leg of lamb. I eat steaks, eggs, and sliced pork belly everyday I love it! I got a 16qt stock pot for Christmas to make large batches of bone broth.
Yummy!!! I’ve never made a lamb roast! Steve isn’t really into leftovers and just wants a steak so I’d have to eat it all 😆 I just had a lamb chop this morning-sooo delicious! 😋
@ some lamb has a stronger taste than others but in general it typically has that gamey taste that a lot of Americans don’t care for. I cook it with salt and a small amount of Greek seasoning with some feta. Cooking up some tonight!!!
I've recently been thinking about decluttering my cabinets again too. I've already cleaned out a lot, but I held on to a lot that i don't use anymore as well.
I use my COSORI air fryer almost every day. I also have a small COSORI food dehydrator to make my own beef jerky and bacon jerky. I have a nice large non-stick skillet that I use for eggs, bacon or a power skillet meal (hamburger, bacon and eggs). I still like oven baked chuck roast slow cooked in a covered roasting pan. I make my own mayo so use a mini food processor or the immersion blender. Carnivore definitely simplifies life.
Keep the best blender! The cheap blenders aren’t made like they used to be, they cannot even handle ice. Also keep can opener, pots and pans for SHTF supplies. Good luck and happy new year! 🎆🎊 PS Keep the Le Crueset girl!! Also, you can get the meat attachment for the kitchen aid mixer to grind your own meat, make sausages… they also have ice cream and shaved ice attachments.
I temporarily moved to AK for a job. I had to buy everything to live and discovered that I need next to nothing. I have a table, a folding chair and a bed. Kitchen has a pan, air fryer and storage, two plates and two sets of silverware and immersion blender.
Hadn’t thought of that. So many appliances have not been used by me for ages. Hubby has though… toaster, blender, food processor. I do use my oven and air fryer. Love the thought. 504 days Carnivore now.
Lol! I love this video because I have just recently moved from upstate NY to Chicago... I've been eating carnivore for 1 year now, and when packing, I tossed my toaster, potato masher, etc... I don't use the stuff... I'd like to get rid of pots & pans... Oh, Steph, yep, the spices were tossed as well... Carnivore is so simple! Air fryer & Crock-Pot is all I've been using...
I’m with you on all those spices. I have so many just taking up room! But hear me out, you might need the blender to make carnivore pancakes? And the mixer for carnivore bread? I don’t need it but my hubby just started carnivore and he “needs” that stuff. I’ve been carni for 5 months now and still try carni bread 😅 but I feel guilty when I eat it LOL. Decisions decisions! 😬
I can totally relate to you on this! I was making kombucha for a couple years then went carnivore. Wasn’t making the kombucha anymore…but hung onto the bottles…gave some away and need to declutter the rest! It is a great feeling not to need so much stuff too. Good job! And thanks for the video! Did you really get rid of your dog?
Carnivore has brought out the cleaning beast in me. I am enjoying getting rid of everything. I am putting some stuff in the garage to see if I need it to cook my meat in. This is truly a no-brainer diet it's a very lazy way of eating as well for me
Don't throw away good tools! I love throwing away stuff that has no value, but be thoughtful about throw away tools that might be useful in the future.
I am trying to get rid of things but my husband has an emotional attachment. I would love to toss many things but it is a struggle. I am carnivore. He calls himself Keto. I want to toss the toaster. Nope. And I look forward to moving because it will force both of us to really review.
I've only been technically a carnivore for four months. I've been moving some stuff from the kitchen to time-will-tell bins. My spouse still does not eat this way :(. But I can already see that there is so much of my kitchen stuff I don't need anymore, but I have not reached the point where I can get rid of it. I'll just put it away for now.
Yes! I went minimal b4 carnivore and carnivore simplified my life & home even more. I love it! We have 2 plates, 2 bowls, etc cz it’s all we need. And I cook almost everything in my air fryer too. ❤ It’s (carnivore &/or minimalism) very freeing. It frees up time, energy, money, headspace, emotions, etc. Together they are powerful. 👍💪 But they both take getting used to.😉
Yall I get so sick of eating meat fairly quick. Yes I change it up and love most meat and im a meat eater.. anybody have any ideas? I’ve tried eating more good salt too.
Just started the same recently. Got rid of so many things, including a purge of spices before Christmas. Multiple cook books. Gotta keep the dehydrator for jerky and pemican plus waffle iron for carnivore waffles. Personal size ice cream maker for carnivore version. No sugar versions. No air fryer. Yet 😂. Also reduced dishes and glasses in half. Just said today, we don’t need our saucepans anymore ! Great timing on your videos. Seems to running into purging many other things too. A new mindset all the way around. 😂😂😂 Wow, I thought I was crazy getting rid of extra wrapping paper after Christmas. 😂😂😂 Veggie Mandolin out the door. This video is so ironic.
I hardly use my pots, pans, bowls, plates, things in my cupboard, and appliances. My kitchen life no longer exists. Dirty dishes, take a week to fill my sink bin! I use my electric grill outside only, except for eggs. Love it!
I bought an expensive Ninja blender, food processor combo.......just sitting in the cabinet collecting dust. I am definitely going to go through stuff, and get rid of some things.
I down sized a few years ago. I got rid of my stove. I use a counter top oven and electric frying pan. People think I'm weird but it was so freeing and I have not regretted it. Honestly I could live without the counter top oven if I had to.
What autoimmune disease does Steve have,? I have hypothyroid and RA. Everything I eat bloats me. I just ordered FOB diet books as my sister is trying it and seems to be working. Do you grind your meat for burgers sometimes? If you have a Kitchenaid you can get an attachment. Do not know a lot about carnivore diet but I LOVE my vegetables so even though I like meat I would miss the veggies more. Have you done a cooking video on the carnivore diet that I missed? Last question, do you use tallow for cooking? Happy New Year!
I feel your pain with the kombucha. I absolutely love love love it and miss if 😥…I have replaced it with Goat milk kefir. It is delicious, a little on the effervescent side a nice tart almost liquid yogurt flavor. You need to get some kefir “grains” and ferment it on the counter for about 24 hours. It is addictive … My husband and I drink about 4 ounces in the morning and 4 ounces before bed and we sleep like babies and it does great things for your gut health!l We only use goat milk for our cheese and dairy it doesn’t have the same enzymes and proteins that cows milk does which causes me gastro distress ….. we even give 2 tablespoons of kefir every morning to our raw carnivore fur baby. She loves it! 🐶
I love kefir! I made it for a couple years too! But I let it go when I stopped the kombucha. We did non-dairy carnivore until recently I started eating a little dairy here and there. Steve has a couple bites of raw cheese a week but no liquid dairy yet for him. I’ll make some kefir again if I keep eating dairy! I was testing to see if it made me break out but so far it’s been ok! ❤️
@@StevenSteph hope you’re able to add a little dairy and then some kefir back in. It’s so yummy!… maybe give goat milk a try it might be easier on your system… I get mine at either Trader Joe’s or sprouts it’s called Summerhill and that brand is a nice neutral taste
I think you should keep a hand crank can opener. Everyone should have a small emergency canned meat section in a cabinet in case no meat is available because stores closed, or there is some kind of disaster. It is wise to be prepared. I also have a husband who will not change his diet, so I still have to keep some stuff, and I am not full blown carnivore yet.
We are not strict on a time but it generally falls between 8am-9am for Breakfast and 2pm-3pm for Dinner. We sometimes have a snack in between meals if we have had a physically taxing day.
I can totally understand your point of view. Unlike you guys, I still entertain. I will make veggies and a salad to go with the meat I am making. So pots and pans, salad spinners, etc. will still be useful for me. That’s the same reason that I don’t get rid of the glasses and mugs I own. I still enjoy having people over.
We moved from SA to the Cayman Island in Sept 2024. I sold all my stuff & only flew my spatulas, steak knives & tongs here. We had to buy an air fryer, because Im on the same page as you. Go for it 😂 Oh I only bought salt, pepper, cayenne pepper & cinnamon when we landed 😏
Ohh this sounds divine! I wish I could get my family on board with carnivire, i have 3 other people to cool for daily. This would make my life so much easier!
I have stuff in back room I am selling at garage sale BUT NOT MY BLENDTECH!!! Lol. I will make a blended coffee with allulose once in awhile and carn cheesecake and crushing pork rinds.
aren't the airfryer drawers and trays made of plastic..? that is for sure leeching into food over time the more it is heated or do you have stainless steel trays?
I have been on the carnivore diet for 5 months now, I have completely reversed my diabetes, with no medicine, I've lost 30 lbs, my blood pressure is back to normal, and I feel fantastic at 55 😎 Thank God for Dr Berry

The two of you are such a hoot! I enjoy your channel greatly.
20 months carnivore (occasional ketovore) and have discovered/ doing the same thing,

My spice rack is a large double tier lazy susan and is the one area that I'm having difficulty clearing out for some reason. I do make pickled eggs and use those spices regularly.
As far as the rest, including black pepper (which I LOVE), they are no longer used.
I just boxed up my food spiraling thingy last week for donation lol
I am keeping my small food processor as I've seen videos on how to make 'chips' with meat.

Yall I get so sick of eating meat fairly quick. Yes I change it up and love most meat and im a meat eater.. anybody have any ideas? I’ve tried eating more good salt too.
You could braise oxtail or beef shank in the dutch oven... delicious!
Wow! I wonder how many other Carnivores are doing the same? It feels like a natural progression.
I hardly use my pots, pans, bowls, plates, things in my cupboard, and appliances. My kitchen life no longer exists. Dirty dishes, take a week to fill my sink bin! I use my electric grill outside only, except for eggs. Love it!
OMG that's going to be so weird having all those cabinets and nothing in them 😂😂😂
@@kimczariki3786 😂 I know
You can cook your eggs too in the airfryer
Haven’t tried that. Thanks for the tip 😊
What do you eat on a daily ?
I bought an expensive Ninja blender, food processor combo.......just sitting in the cabinet collecting dust. I am definitely going to go through stuff, and get rid of some things.
It will feel so Good Kelly
I down sized a few years ago. I got rid of my stove. I use a counter top oven and electric frying pan. People think I'm weird but it was so freeing and I have not regretted it. Honestly I could live without the counter top oven if I had to.
@@lauralot Awesome ❤️
What autoimmune disease does Steve have,? I have hypothyroid and RA. Everything I eat bloats me. I just ordered FOB diet books as my sister is trying it and seems to be working. Do you grind your meat for burgers sometimes? If you have a Kitchenaid you can get an attachment. Do not know a lot about carnivore diet but I LOVE my vegetables so even though I like meat I would miss the veggies more. Have you done a cooking video on the carnivore diet that I missed? Last question, do you use tallow for cooking? Happy New Year!
My bloat DISAPPEARED the 1st week on carnivore.
@@tamarab3683 are you serious? do you have autoimmune issues or ibs? curious? Love meat but veggies are my friend. Fruit can take a hike, just sayin.
Do you use an instant pot with a stainless basket anymore?
Could do an rv or dorm fridge & just use the freezer
I have a small retro type fridge about 3' tall and a chest freezer. I love not having a huge fridge. They're ugly.
Oh my gosh, I’m just starting and I can’t wait to be in a position where I’m ready to get rid of all the clutter. It would be so freeing.
So, You got good health and a decluttered kitchen to look forward to on your Carnivore journey 🙏♥
How do you make your bone broth
I would love to know as well
I feel your pain with the kombucha.
As I'm getting closer to total Carnivore, Ive been thinking the same thing. We can totally rethink the idea of a kitchen.
Exactly! If you're a Carnivore for life your kitchen requirements are far less than the "norm"
You two look amazing
You are very kind, thank you.
Ive been a minimalist for years so when my husband and i went carnivore it just made things even easier
What will you do with your bare kitchen cupboards? ❤
You say you only eat 2 meals a day. Are there certain times you eat each meal? Thanks
We are not strict on a time but it generally falls between 8am-9am for Breakfast and 2pm-3pm for Dinner. We sometimes have a snack in between meals if we have had a physically taxing day.
@ ok thanks for answering. I’m just starting out.
Where do you buy your meats?
How much in lbs of steak do you eat per meal?
Steve here, I eat 1 pound of meat and 3 eggs twice per day. Steph eats maybe a 1/4 pound of meat and two eggs twice per day.
As a carnivore I would never get rid of my Vita Mix blender, Food processor, Air Fryer. I make amazing carnivore foods with these appliances
This was a good video, now you gotta do one cleaning out your kitchen you can name what carnivore's no longer need 🙌
No cheese grater? Are you doing carnivore without cheese?
We moved from SA to the Cayman Island in Sept 2024. I sold all my stuff & only flew my spatulas, steak knives & tongs here. We had to buy an air fryer, because Im on the same page as you. Go for it 😂 Oh I only bought salt, pepper, cayenne pepper & cinnamon when we landed 😏
That is awesome! I love your commitment ♥
Ohh this sounds divine! I wish I could get my family on board with carnivire, i have 3 other people to cool for daily. This would make my life so much easier!
Ask the family to try it for 30 days. Great way to start the New Year
I have stuff in back room I am selling at garage sale BUT NOT MY BLENDTECH!!! Lol. I will make a blended coffee with allulose once in awhile and carn cheesecake and crushing pork rinds.
I still have my food processor so that’ll work if I keep it for stuff like that….but it might go too! 😆
@ love you guys’ videos!
I love you guys
Love you too
I laughed out loud tho when Steve said "she's already backtracking"
😂
It’s weird but since I’ve been carnivore I’ve bought more stuff. 😮🤣Air fryer
Immersion blender that also is a chopper and a whisk
😂
aren't the airfryer drawers and trays made of plastic..? that is for sure leeching into food over time the more it is heated or do you have stainless steel trays?
I think Steph uses stainless steel and ceramic.
10 month carnivore and all cooked on the Weber , no kitchen or house needed.
I swear you guys look 5 years younger. Hoping that 2025 is your best year yet!
You are very kind 🙏 We hope 2025 is an Amazing year for you as well ❤️
