The coins in this video seem to be highly controversial, so that’s exactly why I am going to talk about them. Do you have any of these in your stack/collection? -DS
I would not by from SD Bullion again. They offered "random descriptions" of more rare coins in a lot, but sent none of the older coins pictured in the description. For another constitutional coin, their lot was double the price of other reputable dealers. Their explanation? That's the way it is, "thank you for your understanding..."
Don't have many RMs myself, but I'm always looking for more. Do have about 3 of the 2s, and only one Potsdam Church 5RM so far, but I'm intending to focus more on RMs that are 'with HK', rather than 'without HK'.
man i got say youre the first to actually acknowledge that russia did horrible things good example it what Germany and Russia did to Poland on both sides it was horrible
I own WW2 K98 German rifles with Nazi symbols and Mosin Nagant with the communist star. I’m a WW2 buff and I view it as preserving history. You could say all money is blood money but money is neutral. It’s the intention and use of the money. Cool video.
@@DeseretStacker the ruble sells for around $25-50, the poltinnik (50 kopeks) for around $10-20. The ruble was only made in 1924 while tho poltinnik was made from 1924-27. There are also coins from the RSFSR from 1921-23 - these are scarcer. I got mine about 20 years ago when coins were pouring out of the former USSR. Russian coins are attractive and fun to collect
I have several Japanese coins of the era, Banana money and Aluminium sen coins from the 1940s are common as dirt. Don't have any silver Nazi coins, but plenty of the cheap zinc 5 and 10 pfennig ones. Many Russian coins, but silver only for empire.
I have the German reichmarks. Interesting coins to collect, not something I wanna review on video but I might do that in the future. Cheers DS, thanks for sharing ✌🏻😊
No need to apologise about blood money. Every powerful Nation or Empire killed countless victims eg.Islamic conquests,Ottomans,Spanish,British,Romans etc. Coins are mere historical relics of time past good & bad.
Greetings from North Dakota. I have not picked up many Russian/Soviet coins but they are on the menu. Japanese coins are some of the most beautiful coins. I've been buying the dragon coins from the end of the samurai era lately. I also like all my German coins from Prussia all the way to today. And yes, nazi coins are a part of their history. I don't think there is a country on earth which has not had it's darker moments. History needs to be talked about in an adult manor. Thank you for reminding folks.
I have some Russian coins that I received from a Russian guy that used to be part of the stacking community about 10 years ago. One I believe it's from around the 1920's. I don't have it in an easily accessible location, so I can't verify the date. It has a blacksmith on one side. He sent me a few more as well.
Dude, get on with the video. Quit apologizing. We all know the history. But we are coin collectors, we dont care about old politics. I have a shit load of Reich marks and I dont feel guilty one bit. Its a part of history...
“My narrative of history”. It’s the truth whether you like it or not, I will not be silenced by people who are too scared to talk about it. These coins come from very contentious periods of history and I am not afraid to talk about it. -DS
I don’t have any Italian WW2 money so that’s why none was shown, and the Soviets being allied with us during the war doesn’t erase their crimes before, during, and after the war.
I have these. For history sake. Very interesting
My exact reasoning as well.

Yeah, I never order from them.
I got some Sadam cash is about as close to this as I've got. 🤷🏼♂️
I need to get some of that too.

Yeah, I don’t come across them too often so I get them when I find them.
get out there and find some mormon gold
It’s too expensive!

I don’t know why people refuse to acknowledge it. I’m just in it for the coins though lol. -DS
Great job sir!
Thank you!

@@DeseretStacker They are now that’s for sure. I’m looking for a Japanese Arosaka myself. Too pricey now.
Have you ever come across any of these coins? -DS
I have all of them plus the 1924 Soviet half ruble and ruble which are quite attractive.
@@wdpayne1958 I want to get the entire collection, would be a nice show off set.

Coins are nothing but the history of a country. All things don't represent evil but if it does it is still the history of that country.
Exactly
Word of advice, stop apologizing and simply do your video. I collect all sorts of coins, the fact I do means nothing in the larger scheme of things
What did I apologize for?
Not apologizing. I think he means the warning of offensive material.
I collect nazi Germany coins myself, I'm not a Nazi.
I like the USSR hammer and sickle coins myself

Do a close up of all the coins next time please.
I can hardly see it.
Does any one know the value of this notzi money I have some coins that I think are mis punched
About $25-$35 is the usual cost of a 5 Reichsmark at the moment
I get them for 8-10€ and stack them for their silver content.

That’s awesome, sounds like a 1924-1927 50 Копеек (Kopeek). I always have to go out of my way to find these types of coins. -DS
Still i subbed.
Want to talk about blood money? Look at the children mining cobalt for batteries for electric cars.
That has nothing to do with these coins.
