Shadow TTar has been the been the best kept secret in Open Master since it was able to learn Brutal Swing.(Last season it was more rare, this season I have seen TTar more). My Master League team this season has been Mewtwo lead with Avalugg safe swap and my 100% shadow Ttar as my closer. Team is sooo strong that I qued up against Caleb Peng and he top lefted the minute he saw TTar 😂😂😂😂. His team was Rhyperior lead with Mewtwo and Rayquaza in the back which TTar shreds! Alignment wasn't in his favor and he played it as well as he could ofcourse.
@@wuguxiandi9413it will be for a bit. We may see more double fairy backlines to counter it. I thought Hisuian Avalugg was going to be everywhere when Homeslice featured it however I've barely seen any. Too be fair though Tyranitar is more accessible!
@@wuguxiandi9413 It's a shadow and one that hasn't really been available much lately. I think we are safe. Getting one good enough to invest in is REALLY hard. I have a 98% and I love using it :P
I purified two of my 98% IV shadow Larvitars about two or three years ago (before shadows were even used in PVP).. One of my biggest regrets in pokemon go.
Shadow Force makes me so sad as the signature move of my favorite pokemon. It is the highest energy move in the game at 90 while doing less damage than most legendary signature moves do at 60 energy (and no secondary effect whatsoever to make up for it). Origin has no use for it because shadow ball does 80% the damage for 60% of the cost. Altered can try to use it as a surprise nuke but it's incredibly obvious because of the ridiculous energy cost and Altered will normally otherwise be dishing out those dragon claws/etc pretty regularly. And even if you know the opponent is gonna throw it, if your mon is tanky then you don't even have to respect it because it's just not that strong. That is not how nukes are supposed to work. The only uses for Shadow Force are either you pretend to build up to one just to maybe threaten a shield (since Altered normally has very low shield pressure), or if you really really want ghost charge move coverage (since Altered's only other option is shadow sneak which has even worse DPE; but at least it's low cost); and notice how neither of those reasons have anything to do with how good Shadow Force itself is. The only situation in which it's objectively good is for PvE, and even then it's only notable on Altered since Origin has shadow ball which has nearly as good dps (and you can potentially get one more off before dying if you reach 50 energy). Sorry for my rant lol this just really disappoints me since this is one of the few pokemon I'd 100% be willing to use an Elite TM on to get its signature move but there's just no reason to
Definitely going to run my lvl 50 15, 15, 13 96% Shadow Smack down t tar, while having it best buddied to lvl 51, and has BS and SE for charged attacks
Everyone goes with origin because the damage is more preferred and consistency. Shadow Ball hits hard which can help in most scenarios and is why it's more preferred over Altered despite being tankier.
Dont blame shadow force, tina altered never had a nuke move, so nobody ever shield it's first charge move, with shadow force you can actually knock many mons as they will not expect that move
My problem with shadow force is the energy. It cost soo much that the person your battling most likely knows what's coming and they either shield it or depending on what your opponent has they let it go considering Altered Giratina doesnt have a high attack stat so in that case it just makes more sense to just go for 3 dragon claws or 3 shadow sneaks in most cases. If they lowered the energy on shadowforce though it could be sooo OP.
@@rupertpupkin2660the thing with Shadow Force Giratina is if you actually know if they have it or not. You can argue they are running Ancient Power and trying to overfarm incase you have a Ho-Oh and it is all really mind games. You can keep a A-Giratina at 50 energy and use Dragon Claws at 80+ energy but always have one saved and you can't tell if they are running S-Force or not and it is very tricky. Again it is a expensive move but it is all about mind games if you can guess right or not.
@@NepNeppyYeah forsure. I think if Altered Giratinas attack stat was higher maybe I would try it. For instance a Shadow Force takes out 43% of Zacians Health(non debuff) while each Shadow Sneak takes out 18% of Zacians health so I guess one shadow force is more efficient then 2 Shadow Sneaks. It takes 12 shadowclaws though which is rough & I generally ALWAYS shield the Shadowforce (If I need to) i think I only got baited once... but sure mind games is always a factor especially in Ho Ho matchup however if I got a Ho Oh up against Giratina in the lead I'm switching out of that matchup most likely. But there's a bunch of hypotheticals and we can be here all day weighing the pros and cons 😂😂😂. I think that move needs to be buffed though.
Same. Exact same IVs. It was raining ALL DAY on larvitar community day classic. I drove to the mall cause I knew if I didn't farm the XL during com day there would be no chance of me building it! XD
I'm starting to think we need to do an insurrection at Niantic They're running the game into the ground with their incompetence, the people who pay to keep the game going may need to take over to save it

Everything happens for something good
Is a 15/15/12 Origin Giratina worth powering up?
Is my shadow tyranitar 15/14/15 good iv?

ZACIAN is broken… using a fairy without any fairy moves Is the proof lol

Mewtwo hates that thing too lol
Not at all . Shadow Titar with 0 shilds Love Focus-Blast 😂
i want to play my shadow ttar more but got nothing good to pair it with 🤧

Origin for sure
Can you do Talonflame (lead), Dubwool (safe), and Lanturn (closer) in the Holiday Cup?
Zygard 100% should only be allowed in mega cups

Basically Altered = better against Dragons
Origin = better overall against most matchups.
Luckily I have a 15-15-14 lvl51 shadow tyranitar
