    how do you allocate existing inventory that has been purchased before you create the invoice that you want to do a job costing report on?

    How can an expense be allocated to a particular job of a customer with many open jobs in online version?

      +Hamza Marfani if you have qb online plus... the Customer column will be there on every check or bill for you to assign it.

      Thanks for your reply. I have QB online plus, I have customer column and I am able to assign the expense to customer but I want to assign the expense to a particular project of that customer. Is that possible? or shall i try desktop version?
