I’ve heard that song hundreds of times and I never ever get tired of it. There’s no wonder that it won them their first Grammy award. There’s even another video showing them performing this song live such that you know it was not mixed in the studio because they can literally make it sound identical even in a live performance. Just astounding!

oh btw you mentioned the video production. 1st of all they were just starting out and they had no budget and they ended up making it themselves for $400 shooting it in the closet of Scotts flat in one day. Kevin couldn't handle wearing the blue contact lenses so they grabbed a pair of sunglasses from the gas station across the street. Avi and Kevin edited the video with Kevin's laptop on Mitch's kitchen table the next day. This home project won them there first Grammy Award and the rest is history. 💥💯💥
Love your reactions - you're observant and super-enthusiastic. PTX are masters of arrangements, medleys, and mash-ups. Yet they're also superb at ballads and anthems. I do think you'd like Love Again; also try Can't Sleep Love. From their more recent materials, try Come Along and Problem. And if you want to get into the sheer vocal beauty of PTX, try Hallelujah, Imagine, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, and Amazing Grace, Oh, and if you're at all familiar with Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, try their cover of it!

Great reaction! I could recommend some PTX videos but honestly, I've never seen a bad one so just look through their catalog and pick one that jumps out at you. Their "Evolution" medleys are a lot of fun. They do them in one take just sitting together. They have evolutions of Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Rihanna, Ariana Grande and the evolution of music through the ages. Enjoy!

But, if you want to see how they perform these in a live setting you should check out their 2016 Popspring performances. As much as I like the PTX lane, when you decide to venture off for a change of pace, there are a couple of incredibly talented female vocalists that you should delve into. Morissette Amon is a 24 year-old powerhouse from the Phillipines. She has done numerous covers on a radio station bus/studio called Wish 107.5. She also just released an EP of originals. ('Rise Up', 'Never Enough', and 'Akin Ka Na Lang' will get you hooked) The other is a 43 year-old soprano from South Korea named Sohyang (So-young). She is an ELITE vocalist that defies description. ('Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'I Have Nothing', 'You Raise Me Up' and her master-class 'Everyone', save this one for last out of the group and use the Vimeo version so you can get CC's)

You aren't going to find a single PTX video that you wont have this kind of reaction to. So many good songs. If you are looking for straight up harmony - look up "Run to You." If you want another fast dance tune - Their cover of Macklemore's "Cant Hold Us" is a banger. If you want some of their original stuff (yes, they do more than covers), look up "Cant Sleep Love" or "Love Again." Seriously - Great reaction. All their stuff is this good.

Pentatonix never releases anything they can't also sing live. Unfortunately, most of the live videos were recorded on someone's cell phone with wildly screaming crowds messing up the audio. However, their _Daft Punk Medley_ actually has a live version that's properly audible, because it was filmed in a hospital room where they were visiting a young fan, so no screaming crowds. Couldn't watch your video, because I needed double the volume to even hear Pentatonix at all, and then your voice blasts in at triple the volume of the music. Made it about 33 seconds in, you should fix this issue before making many more posts. If I'm going to have my eardrums blown out, it's going to be by the music, not someone speaking.
