The time has come for many of this aging deckers with NXWM to leave the fleet as more and more BYD electrics enter service. One home for the 2003 built Trident ALX400 deckers in their remaining years has been Birmingham Central with a batch primarily allocated to Route 97 which runs to Birmingham Business Park near Chelmsley Wood from the City Centre. 4468 BJ03 EVX was captured one evening in December 2023 operating into Birmingham sounding absolutely lovely. This one was withdrawn from use in early July 2024.
