    • @thanunchanokesermsakul8306
      @thanunchanokesermsakul8306  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      SuperLetout NaOH is a corrosive bade which I used it to break down banana tissues in to little pieces and after that I did wash off the tissues with water so it is totally safe to wrap your food with banana tree paper :)

    Nice video. A d thanks for sharing it to us!. Anyway, id like to ask few things bout the banana paper. Is it water resistant? Is it harder to be teared compared to the regular paper? Is it flexible yet sturdy?

    • @thanunchanokesermsakul8306
      @thanunchanokesermsakul8306  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Fathi Rizki First, yes it is water resistant. Second, no it’s just like regular paper it can be easily torn, yes it is flexible but the flexibility is up to how thin and thick you made it. Btw thank you for asking :)

    The Gourmet Paper Maker by Ellariane Lockie (2001) recommends using Washing Soda "soda ash" (Sodium Carbonate). However, the cooking should still be done outdoors with a ventilation mask, and fumes should not be inhaled. Also, stainless steal pots are recommended as other materials may react with Carbonate and produce a gas.

    • @thanunchanokesermsakul8306
      @thanunchanokesermsakul8306  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well Sodium Hydroxide helped just only burning the banana tissues. But to make the paper thin, you need to spread out those banana's tissues all over the net.
