You’re a good teacher. The more mechanical tutorials, the better.
The 100k subscriber milestone is right around the corner, and well deserved.
Thank you so much for watching & enjoying my videos.
Thank you for the compliment. Crazy fact from TH-cam analytics is that 83% of my views originate from outside my subscriber base. That’s been consistent since I started uploading here.
@@BillyLaneChoppers You’re welcome.
That’s wild. They need to subscribe. Perhaps a gentle reminder at the end of the videos won’t hurt, whether it’s verbal or just pointing at a “Subcribe” sign at the end. It’s not begging, it’s reminding.
And thanks for the ugly shovel series. It motivated me to go out and buy another shovel, a fixer upper project that was in a shed for nearly 25 years. It’s an 84 fx (chain final drive) and I should be riding it soon. It’s already painted in flames though, so I won’t have to set the tins on fire ;)
And thanks again for the great content.
I've been following Billy Lane since Biker Build-Off it's great to see how far he came
Billy Lane, I just can't believe what an incredible mechanical genius you are, in the way you can fabricate ANYTHING and make it work so well along with your amazing knowledge of every part of every bike you ever worked on! You always leave me so inspired and appreciative for people like you who can also convey that message in such a confident manner! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Keep those videos coming! You're the best!
Thanks Billy for taking time out of your life and making videos for us. They are appreciated!
Thank you for taking your own time to watch them, good to have you here
Yes Sir,,,Passing the skill and love of Bike building to the next generation. I hope you know the gift you are giving.
I sir really salute you, as it has been my love since I turned 20 in Berdoo in the Air Force. Now 76 and still have a shovel hardtail....Plus 3 more Harleys. None that have a stinking computer....Oh you lucky Dog I saw those two Pans in the background ! Thanks for the invite to Nashville.
I like how you inserted a cool custom, low-buck custom fork idea in here...
I really love the springer fork but, at these speeds, an upgraded $300 Sportster fork can make a world of difference.
Damn excellent to see Billy Building!
This is all I’ve ever done, since I was a teenager
Thanks for properly using "damping" rather than saying "dampening" like most people. Rock on.
Coral Gables 🌴🇺🇸 GREAT seeing the old stuff. My Floridana neighbor ! Hehe 👌🏄
I know I sound like a broken record but I feel I have to keep saying thank you for making these videos. I love machining and custom work and I know these take a lot of time and work to make having to constantly stop to show and explain the steps in the process. Thanks. These are vastly better than any garbage scripted reality bs shows.
I put a lot of work into this, but your response’s & commitment to them makes it fulfilling and worthwhile
Safety first make the bike adjust to the increase speeds you all are doing..Billy is the man
As an "old school" lover..thank you Mr Lane for another great fab video
I wish I could get into this type of racing it is so cool...... ALL THE BEST FROM AUSTRALIA BILLY......
What's not to get into ? Its racing man. Not only that its bike racing in its simplest form. I get your point though , different strokes right. 👍
@@thobur2661 I think when he that he "wishes he could get into this type of racing" I took it as Him wanting to get into the Sport as a Rider - in the Races.
Great vid as always! Can’t wait to see this ripping around the track again.
I enjoy seeing the process, thanks Billy.
As an old timer, I Appreciate You for maintaining & sharing old world iron Alive.
Your journey is nothing short of Amazing...started out as BillyBadAss, & evolved into Dr.Billy Lane PhD the mad scientist with a love for Milwaukee Iron via tropical 🍹 paradise FL.
Blessings to you, & your family.
Billy, I always love stopping by the shop, have a blessed week my friend.
Definitely A Smoother Transition, AWESOME IDEA.👍
Billy Lane customization, Subtle, Unique, BadAss. Hope to meet you one day, and shake your hand Billy. Meanwhile, be safe & have fun brother.
As a 62 year old disabled veteran (ambulatory) who’s been wrenching and riding since age 4 (Thanks Pop, we miss you.) I really appreciate your dedication and skills Billy. Good Luck in the Race and, Ride On.
Thanks for your service. My father was also a warrior. In God we trust. Stars and Stripes Forever. Thailand Paul.
You look at any small town race car, and the paint looks good from the stands, but you get up close and it's got that home made look to it. It fits what you're doing, so it's perfect.
Billy, you are an awesome teacher.
Thanks Billy, been a big fan for years.....
Hey Billy I have the same alki seltzer box cutter! Keep wrenching big dog love your work
Awesome to have you back making regular videos again Billy!!!!
Those are some awesome bikes and the guys who throw a leg over them are complete badasses!
These 750cc Harley-Davidson racers will smoke most 1200cc H-D big twins. Our racers are aces at the handlebars.
You do super cool work , and …unlike some others you take the time to explain what you are doing , thanks. MLNR JIMMY53! Need to send you one of my 53BRANDANAZ. All I need is the preferred color , and a mailing address. Thanx
You did a great job Billy on the forks ! Your adopted son John from Eacy Co. would be impressed.I sure as hell am.
Another informative video. I learn something watching every time. Thanks and keep ‘em coming!!!
I love seeing the techniques of a pro. You're passing on valuable knowledge. It's very entertaining and much appreciated.
Awesome job Billy looks great
Thanks Billy, nothing but quality content, always, appreciate it.
Glad you are enjoying this
As usual very interesting, informative, and relaxing to watch…thank you..
39 narrow glides are cheap and plentiful...unlike those Springer's! Great upgrade! Home in Florida again!
Man you make this stuff look so easy! Keep living your best life
Keep up that great work Billy. It’s hard to film and build at the same time. Love the content
One of the best channels on TH-cam. Thanks, Billy!
Nice work! that new front end should definitely help. Love the paint scheme on the forks. God bless the U.S.A.
Billy mad respect for your skills. I been riding over 48 years and would love to take your race machine for a few laps. I would love to see Sons of Speed. I've seen the races at Wauseon and Davenport.
Nice work bro. Thats just a cool ride!!
Badass bike Billy. Great video
Great video and tutorial. Keep them coming
Great Job Billy ! .....Love that ageing affect ....,Thank Your Lucky Stars 🍀⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Learning from Billy Lane is like learning rock and roll from Elvis! I've been a fan of him and his work since the early 2000s. This is a dream!
Nice watch Billy. I'll be adding a couple of Steinharts to my collection. The one you're wearing in this video will be one if them. The Ocean One GMT.
Thats a badass bike. I'd like to get into this Sons-Of-Speed Racing 🏁
Your videos are always enjoyable Billy.., I like when you throw shit -- that always gives me a chuckle😅
Hands Down Awesome.....
Thank you
Thanks for the video,
Keep them coming please
The front end mods should help keep the tires planted @ the speeds your running. Really diggin' the "Wall of Death" sliders baby,,Rock on brother,, DuBs,,,,,
Great video! Billy respect for your skills!
Thank you
Billy, I've been following your work since the first Biker Build off. Everything you've done so far is absolutely amazing, but in my opinion, what you're doing in Sons of speed is your best. Greetings from Croatia
That looks stellar. Good job man
Billy thanks for letting me hang out in your shop. Looking forward to the next one.
Great video as usual keep ‘em going!!!!
Excellent show. Also very good filming
Sweet ass racer !! Love the talk through on your work & videos !! Thanks for posting !! 💯🇺🇸👍🏻🏁
Thank you for the in depth breakdown of the forks, it makes me confident to attempt jobs like that when I’ve seen it done before.
That old school spray paint to give it that home built look from back in the day is absolutely perfect for this bike. A pro paintjob would be out of place on this thing. You have an exceptional artistic mind. You always have the coolest builds.
Awesome content
Love all the hard work
Great to see your fab skills and know how
I always learn something new
You literally look the happiest, and most at piece than you ever have since ive been following you way back in the late '90's. Its a privilege to continue to watch you and follow you Billy, God Speed brother. 🇺🇸
Billy, your videos are great. Thank you. JMS
Quickly becoming my favorite channel!
This man is a great builder of bikes. His TH-cam videos are a great learning from them. Educational videos
Wow how many years has it been since I saw the Billy Lane video! New sub. Thanks for a great video!
An actual builder. An actual bike. Well done Billy.

You really have a clean simplified teaching ability that is much appreciated.
I loved everything you did with this bike and the “hand paint” looks great. Thanks for sharing your process
Thanks for watching. I've had a lot of fast fun on this one
Billy I look forward to your videos each time you post one. As always great job. I pick up so much from you on tricks and ways to get a job done. Thanks for everything you give to the motorcycle community and myself. You take care and stay safe.
Great work Billy you do alot for your rider safety
Great work man 🤘🤘
Awesome to see you Billy I just subscribed didn’t know you back out at again. Awesome the forks are nice hope they work and kickass.
THANK YOU MR. LANE for sharing the details and techniques and keeping the scene alive and not just the current trends !
Holy quac batman, this popped up in my recommends & glad it did. This shows and explains so many things and not just about a motorcycle.
Watching you work, makes me wanna get back into it. So much knowledge right there, fluid workmanship, seems like you get so much enjoyment from it, I used to be like that and hopefully, one day, I'll get that back. Right now, I gotta concentrate on being a dad.
Good to see you still slingin' wrenches. I met you once back in 03? At easyriders dallas. Would love to meet you again.
I’m editing the 20th anniversary video from that Biker Build-Off & Dallas Easyrider Show now, hard to believe two decades have passed
@@BillyLaneChoppers indeed. I met a lot of builders that weekend. At 10:30 pm, me and tucker put a charging system in perowitz 's bike after it smoked on the dinner ride that night. He tipped us $500. I gave $100 to shorty my parts guy for fetching the parts and beer. We did it in the parking lot because the shop was full of sales and service bikes. Good times!
Mr Lane you are the real deal. Love the bikes you make. Best wishes from South Wales U.K.
Great vid! Funny thing is I'm just finishing my rattle-can paint job on a rat-chop Harley a guy is putting together for me.
I feel way more happy about the amount of time I am needing to do the job to get desired outcome.
Your patience is contagious!
🤟SKYNYRD ON FULL BLAST!! 🤟
Awesome work once again man, the whole front end is just unbelievable,...., .tatro would be proud....
Love what you do man, been watching since the first biker build off....
Great work. Always tweaking to get it a little better each time.
I enjoy your methods and learn a lot from watching you - thanks.
That new front end ought to make for a much better handling motorcycle.
Looks great! I really like the steering dampener. Hoping to get to Tennessee on the 27th and check it out. Best of luck to you all!
did you make it to the Tennessee race?
Brother your knowledge of Harleys is incredible
I hated that you had to pull the springer, but those forks look great. Plus, gave me awesome paint and aging information. Much appreciated.
Looks great as always, it’s cool to watch you in action , when do you build another beautiful chopper ,can’t wait!!
These forks look awesome. Love the sharpie trick. Keep the great videos coming

I’m always able to pick up tips & Tricks from your Videos to use in my Garage on my Vintage Harley & Hot Rod ! Thanks for sharing your Knowledge with the community ! Keep them coming please !
Thanks for another awesome vid, unbelievable skills
Listening to you explain what you're doing reminds me of talking to Indian Larry (right place/right time) and the way explained motorcycles to me when I told him I'm a car guy.
Larry taught me a lot about people, how to deal with them, how to relate to them. Maybe that’s why my approach seems familiar. Thank you for watching & taking the time to share your thoughts.
@@BillyLaneChoppers funny thing is Larry was a childhood friend of my then girlfriend's dad and uncle , I had no idea who he was until I was him on tv ..... lol
Great work Billy, bike looks great! Love the Indian Larry support!
Sad to see the Springer go but the paint job on the new forks is just cool. Love anything Indian Larry. Guy was a genius. Best of luck,
Thank you for the time and expertise. Like others that have commented, I feel I am watching a master at work.
Nice rebuild on the bike , can't hardly believe the pilot didn't get broken during the fall 👍👍🇺🇸
Love this channel! Had no idea Billy was making videos and I’m so happy I found it. I feel like it’s such a privilege to watch a world class builder in action. Keep up the great work.
Great job the "update" engineering! Excellent tech tips!
