I went there as a child. And for my birthday that year I got the Rural Rambler Set (R174) later in life I found out the train set was bought from the Bluebell Railway. Showing my age 😀 Keep up with the great videos.
Wonderful video, That Model Railway Guy! Love Bluebell. Ol' Camelot in fine fettle, it seems. But the highlight for me is the Southern narrow gauge. Looks fabulous! How I wish we had that. Many Thanks.
Yes the Southern 009 layout Blackmoor was definitely one of the highlights of the show for me. Hopefully it won't be too long before there's some more narrow gauge on the channel. Thanks for watching 😃
Rewarding selection of SR layouts in a variety of scales and gauges. Good video photography. The shots of the loco on the Bluebell Railway as well as the layouts have made this an enjoyable video. Thanks for uploading.
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I though it was worthwhile adding in a few shots of the big train set outside 😂 Just to show it did actually take place at the bluebell. Thanks for watching👍
7:33 - That was my first O Scale locomotive with sound when I was a kid! Never seen anyone else with the exact same one! Only seen engines that are slightly different.
Ah brilliant! I have to admit my knowledge of American O Gauge is limited at best but those guys had multiple trains running constantly so it was great fun to watch! Thanks for watching 😃
I generally try to get these exhibition videos out as soon as possible so I don’t usually have time to do a narration. I do plan on doing more in depth videos on some of the layouts which will have narration though so stay tuned for those coming soon. Thanks for watching 😃
I do enjoy my visits to exhibitions! It's good to get ideas and inspiration from them, especially at ones like this where there's a such a wide range/style of layouts on show. Thanks for watching 😃
Amazing catches of the model trains coming by and pass, i like it 5 stars, keep up the great work, i subscribed your channel, Greetings from Portuga to the USA.
Live clag perhaps? 😉 I know TRS Trains have started fitting a few diesels recently and I think Heljan were adding space for smoke units to a few of their O Gauge models... I might have made that up though. Thanks for watching 👍
It honestly depends what you want from it but my suggestion would be to keep things simple and don't cram in too much track so you have some space for scenery. Perhaps have a look at something like the Inglenook Shunting Puzzle for inspiration too. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😃
Camelot isn't a Black Five. She's a standard 5. Not trying to be rude as this is a fantastic video. Wish I didn't live so far away cos I would love to see a GWR hall on that line
@@Northerner_Transport_Hub No need to be sorry at all. From my end it's easy to tell when people are genuinely being helpful rather than looking for something to complain about 😆

What an awesome way to get started in the hobby! I remember going there as a kid too. Thanks for watching 😃

I liked that, looked like a good exhibition as well as real locos outside, best of both worlds 😀
Absolutely! It was a really nice experience travelling by steam between the different exhibitions at the two stations. Thanks for watching 😃
Thank you for the awesome vid :). I think I almost enjoyed watching it more than going there in person. Great content.
That's great to hear Joseph, glad you enjoyed it. Hope you had a good time yourself and thanks for watching 😃
Would you consider doing narated exhibition videos? I think that would really suit your style

Nice! We normally go shopping there.
The Bluebell Railway does have a very nice model shop 😉 Thanks for watching 👍
This looks like a lot of fun! I like these little model exhibition videos. :)

Thanks! Really glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching and subscribing too 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy you're welcome, hopefully you enjoy my channel.
I've noticed theres not alot of live steam diesels on offer or would that be live smoke?
I mean not like the Hornby live steam but as a smoke generator inside the loco similar to the US made models
Live clag perhaps? 😉 I know TRS Trains have started fitting a few diesels recently and I think Heljan were adding space for smoke units to a few of their O Gauge models... I might have made that up though. Thanks for watching 👍
Naming the layouts would have been nice.
All the layout names are in the description. Thanks for watching 😃
Camelot!
It’s only a model.
Shhhhhh!!
I was waiting for someone to make that joke 😂 Thanks for watching 👍
Do you have any tips for building shelf layouts?
It honestly depends what you want from it but my suggestion would be to keep things simple and don't cram in too much track so you have some space for scenery. Perhaps have a look at something like the Inglenook Shunting Puzzle for inspiration too. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😃
Very good video 🚂🚂🚂🚂👍🤩🤩🤩🙋♂️

Well done ✅ Thumbs up ☺️

Whoops, my bad - thanks for the heads up! Yeah the Hall was a really nice surprise to see running too. Thanks for watching 😃
