My most anticipated Omni I’ve the year! King in Black was the first marvel comic I bought at my lcs so I’ve always wanted to go back and read the series from the beginning!
LETS GOOOOOO !!! One of my most anticipated omni’s of the year !!! Can’t wait to re-read this story once again in omnibus format ! Donny Cates killed it with this run ! And Ryan Stegman on artwork ?!?! Sheeeshhhhh ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I bought this book from OrganicPricedBooks and I'm so excited to get this run in one complete package. It's one of my favorite modern Marvel runs and my favorite "Venom" run. For those interested in picking this up, be aware that this seems to divide longtime "Venom" fans. Some fans love the changes and new lore while others thought it ruined Eddie Brock and Venom all at once. Mileage may vary, but I encourage everyone to try it for yourselves by reading the first six issues titled "Rex" and see if you enjoy it.
I'm sad they changed the DM covers. The one I originally pre-ordered was really cool and I didn't even realise they changed until I checked my order earlier this week. Having said that I am glad to FINALLY get my hands on this after all the delays.
both of the original solicited covers are better than what they eventually went with. i think they changed to crosspromote with a card game or something; these images are already circulating so they're probably trying to cash in off that. its a shame fans didn't raise a stink around this like they did with the mcfarlane cover switch (that marvel ended up sending out the replacement og covers for). between cover changes, surprise spines, tp paper and mystery bindings marvel has lost my preorders. i still love you, but you gotta treat me right
I have the 3 OHC + Absolute Carnage + King in Black Omnibus. I am only missing #13-#15 because I don't have War of the realms Omni. Probably will just pickup TPB for those issues.
I want it so badly! My money is waiting for tomorrow anxiously! Already got Venom Unleashed, Absolute Carnage, King in Black, and even the single issue of Cult of Carnage. Cannot wait to read the entire set in order...
I'm really looking forward to getting this one when my order finally ships this month, as the mapping does seem as ideal as you could hope for a nice read through the story. I will say that there are two issues I'm surprised ended up left out of this one - Web of Venom: Venom Unleashed, which takes place approximately after the first arc and is more lead up to Absolute Carnage, and Web of Venom: The Good Son, which takes place after Absolute Carnage and has more lead up for King in Black and a character that shows up soon after. While neither are super important, both of them would have fit in fine with the overarching story in this omnibus, and the first was even written by Ryan Stegman, so it's a little unfortunate they seem to be orphaned now. Overall though, this looks like a really well designed omnibus, especially compared to the King in Black mess.
I really enjoyed the first trade a couple of years ago so I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this run. Are we going to see a knights of pendragon overview this week?
I’m getting this for sure! I only have the first volume of the Venomnibus, I wanted to get the other two but budget at the time was an issue. Hopefully we see a reprint of both of them down the road.

This might be the first time I triple dip. I started getting these trades and around trade 3 or 4 my apartment building burned down. I picked up the HCs but still continued with the trades. I couldn’t wait. I need the collection to match so I picked up the next two HCs anyway. Thinking an omnibus was way down the line. Now I’m picking up this omnibus tomorrow. I’ll donate the HCs to my local book box
By far the Best omni of 2022/23… more like this please… Immortal Hulk omni, spidey 2099 and wolverine vol 3 is promising to be great! What a year for releases… just waiting on the reprints of X Force and Deadpool and X force! Keep me up to date Omar!
If I have the Absolute Carnage Omni, War of Realms Omni and Get the Venom Omni - does that cover most of the BIB omni material? I have already read the event on release with most of the tie ins. If KIB was mapped properly I would have gotten in a minute regardles of double and triple dipping. How much would I be missing with the three omnis I mentioned?
It's still considered a Venomnibus by Marvel which is odd... as the inside of the book states that it is, so I'm not sure why they didn't go with the logo on the spine.

I believe the rest of the story is in the Miles Morales Omnibus if I'm not mistaken..... This seems like a very good Omni with awesome mapping. I prefer the standard cover with all the heroes behind Venom and Knull in the sky.
A very self contained and entertaining run. You don't need to have comprehensive understanding of Marvel universe/history to enjoy it. I especially like the dynamics between Eddie and his son, which gives me a strange last of us vibe. A must buy!
Hey! Wanted to ask some totally unrelated questions... There is a Savage Avengers Omnibus coming next year, and Conan is one of the main characters? Is this Omni going to be affected by the loss of the Conan license? For example if it won't be reprinted or something like that. The other question is about the upcoming Genis-Vell by PAD Omnibus. Is there any chance it could be updated to include the 2022 Genis-Vell: Captain Marvel miniseries? It was written by Peter David after all (Kind of like how they added the Gamma Flight issues to the Immortal Hulk Omni after they were told) Thanks in advance!!

From what I’ve read one reason they still can release it because the solicitation for the comic was made before the rights changed hands. However, the initial release should still have a green light. Seems like the US are lucky as over here in the UK practically no outlets seems to have this in stock anywhere in the country. Ordered this on Amazon UK a month ago for the 13th Dec release date and still no stock. And Amazon UK's alternative is to buy from Amazon US. And as I got it for a great low price seems like I'm in for a looooong wait *sigh*

If you're going to read both this and the King in Black omni, you want to read this one first, since King in Black is the dramatic finale to this run collected here.

Not sure what the deal is, but the standard edition cover you show is the standard edition cover for King in Black, despite what the titlecwriting says. My standard edition cover for this Venom book is neither one of the covers you show. So something is wack. Granted my Venom book is shipping right now, but if it comes with the image you show, it means my King in Black and Venom by Cates have the exact same dust jacket image. (I looked it up, my standard edition cover should come with the cover from issue #10 of the floppies).

I'd have preferred that to this book. I really liked Cates on Thanos and was looking forward to this run, but it didn't click with me.
Yeeees! Not just Remender, even thou his issues were the better ones, I prefer the whole Agent Venom run in 2 omnis!

One of the good modern runs. I have the OHCs but will gladly upgrade to this Omni. Great to see that the issues are in correct order also!

Read venom till you get to AC then read that omni and same with KIB. The final issue is in this omnibus though.
The only difference between this and king in black is the tie ins. Plus,this is more in order than king in black so I'm cool with this😎

"Venomverse" would be right before this Omnibus in a (possible) Mike Costa collection, since it takes place during his run.
