Best explanation I’ve seen, just straight to the point and no jargon or difficult words

Thank you very much. I would have spent a load of time and never got it. Now I know that I need to buy the correct tool.

Thanks man you save my bike! I thought it was broken, but the bolt was just loose. Now all I need is a 14 millimeter socket tool!
Once again, THANKS A LOT MAN!

Ah, the good old simple days...before Hollowtech2, BB90/BB95, PF86/92, BB30, BB30A, PF30, BBright, BB386 EVO, and a new one on the horizon, a threaded BB30. Also we only used to have to worry about spindle length for chainline and BB spacing purposes; now there are many spindle diameter differences as well...the bottom bracket industry has gone insane!

@@teneightypee6999 guess what happens when the cheap ass threads strip out using that special tool? Switch from hammer to angle grinder to cut everything off.
I’ve had about a 50% success rate doing this. It’s never failed that the threads gets ripped right out of the crank arm when I’ve done this. Then it’s a complete shitshow.

My bike has a smaller thread then the extractor, so I went back to halfords to tell them that the first big part of the extractor doesn't screw in and they tell that there's nothing to do to undo it because it is a Chinese bike and they have no extractor for that, would you have another option to open it please?

    • @Camberwell86

Great video. Looks easy enough to do. I need to research the laws specifically, but I believe removal of pedals/cranks can get a motorized bike classified as a motorized scooter in California, removing any requirements for licensing like a motorized bike or motorcycle.
