I've played entertainment venues all across this great country, and I have never seen the likes of Danny Gans. His vocal impressions are other worldly, and are dead on to the characters he is imitating. I could watch him all night. He truly is the "Buddy Rich" of impressions.
I am so depressed I just discovered this man today on TH-cam I’ve been binge watching videos of him entertaining unbelievable talent unbelievable and to learn that he died at age 52 and left the wife and three I believe beautiful children I don’t know how they coped I saw his daughter on a video when they sold his cars and she broke down crying saying this was her dad it was a part of what he liked I don’t know how they could even continue just heart wrenching I am so sorry to all who knew him and loved him especially his family
I lived in Vegas most of 2008 and was lucky to have seen Danny 5 times within 9 months because of bringing friends and visitors. I told them YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS SHOW !!! 5 times and I was never bored with the same exact show because it was so incredible and every time the entire place roared with laughter all evening and applause all evening, every evening. I was there, I KNOW. What an incredible feeling to be in the middle of thousands of people so very happy as one big unit on the same happy page for that night during the show. Hey, if you didn't like him much or at all, you're not a bad person. Everyone reacts differently and has different tastes. I was shocked to hear he died. He and I were the same age. I am so very happy I am one of those who saw him perform. Today is Halloween Oct. 31 2015 here in Orlando, FL, and I was small talking with this older guy at the sub shop the other day and I mentioned living in Vegas and the first thing he said excitedly was, "Did you ever see Danny Ganns" ? How do you like that ? Small world indeed. :-)
Danny was truly the most amazing impersonator in history......met him in Vegas and watched his show countless times.....what a loss for him to die from a medication reaction....my 3rd friend to die from pain meds reaction ;(....RIP Danny! you are missed!
Danny and Bob Anderson were my inspirations to become an impressionist besides just being a singer, but especially Danny, after seeing his show back in 2005 I knew I had to do this also. What a tremendous talent he was. I live and perform here in Las Vegas and have my own show at the Clarion Hotel & Casino. RIP Danny.
We wll never find another. Danny god took wrong guy that was wrong i watch you every night on u tub you make me happy you are they great est. Miss you. God bless
Came here from a Bob Anderson video. Thought he was amazing! A few folks said "Danny gans is the greatest", "if you think he's great, go look up Danny gans" At the beginning of the video I wasn't super impressed. Now toward the end, I can appreciate how well rounded and entertaining he was. A brilliant performer. Not the absolute most dead on vocal recreations, but all were wonderfully done. Holy crap on toast was that Sammy Davis Jr, Elvis and Louis Armstrong ridiculously awesome!!
He was absolutely phenomenal. So very sad to be taken so quickly and too soon but he left a legacy and it's so nice we can still appreciate his fine talent. Best to his family if anyone reads this and knows them- even if not! He was uniquely special and I'm so glad I was able to see him a few times.
I was fortunate enough to see Danny perform live at a large business convention several years ago. He was absolutely phenomenal! What a terrible loss when he passed away.
I saw him when I was 8 back in 2000 and I'll never forget he did Kermit the frog and the whole audience just swooned in awe. Couldn't believe how great his show was just by doing voices.
I'm watching Bull Durham right now and didn't realize he was in it. I had no idea who he was until a friend gave me a ticket to his show in Vegas in 2002. I feel very fortunate to have seen him live! He fit the bill of the best act you've never heard of!
I saw Sammy do Bojangles live at the Hilton in Melbourne and seeing Danny do it...holy shit it was like he'd come back to life. Imagine the show those two would be putting on up there now trying to outdo each other's impersonations. It'd nearly be worth the price of admission :-)
I had the priviledge of seeing him live in Nevada and he was every bit as talented and more then you see in this video. I'll never forget him. And his impression of Sammy Davis Jr. brings tears to my eyes
He was the best in the world no body was. Best. Now he is gone not fair we miss you i liston. To him all time i never get enough. Rest in peace play your gig up there love you danny
Two minutes into this video it's not hard to see why he was the highest paid draw in Vegas, ahead of Sigfried and Roy. He was so gifted....God must have a bigger audience waiting for him in Heaven to have taken him at such a young age.
One of greatest talents. Too bad we lost him :-( He was great when he started up back in late 80s he was so funny. I keep watching that video. I never get tired of him. RIP.
I lived in Vegas and Danny was the best show in town I saw him about 5 times each time he was great and 8 had the pleasure of meeting him after one of his shows a great guy a good person God rest his soul
I've heard the name Danny Gans many times. Never knew what he did. Seeing him here for the 1st time I'm super impressed. Great entertainer, very versatile impressionist. And BTW, the guy could sing for real.
Ohhh ohhh danny. Y oh y did u have to leave us. 😔. THEE best entertainer that ever lived. I saw Danny gans not once, but twice. He was that good. He is Mr Vegas. I will always remember u Danny. U made such an impression, that I will never forget u. Rest in peace my dear friend. I know one thing, we lost u here, but heaven is being entertained as we speak. 🙏
So many people try Kermit and James Stewart because they think it’s easy but what’s easy is getting it wrong And going too far. He nailed both. Also that Rod Stewart 👌 gorgeous.
Amazing talent. But what’s so sad is almost all of the people he impersonated are dead, too. Great characters and talents themselves. The “stars” today won’t be impersonated or remembered in the years to come.
Aww, Danny's such an interesting story. Major league ball player who got injured, didn't know what to do, made an act for himself. He was like THE show you went to if you wanted to go to a show in Vegas in the 90's. Way before any of the Cirque invasion happened. Pretty good performer and more entertaining that he would mix jokes into the impressions. I Bob Anderson was way better but that's from an even earlier era. To bad he died so young. Never forget his image on the Mirage Board though. Hat's Off.
What’s amazing is how many people he does. He’s not funny at all but his impressions are good I think. You could guess every one even if he didn’t announce it.
Is that the whole act, one little tinny snip of a song by tons of people. I don't know if I'd like that so much. But he must have had something people really loved.
Such a great performer. Knew the pharmacist who over prescribed him so many different medications weekly it would blow your mind. Death wasn't accidental. Paid coverup
That doesn’t make any sense. Awful people can endorse anyone they want to lmao, doesn’t make the person they like awful as a result. Get your life together 🤣
I've played entertainment venues all across this great country, and I have never seen the likes of Danny Gans. His vocal impressions are other worldly, and are dead on to the characters he is imitating. I could watch him all night. He truly is the "Buddy Rich" of impressions.
My wife and I saw Danny in 2000 - this guy could do it all. Really one of the greatest entertainers of our generation.
I saw him when I was under 21 in Vegas. I am now 35. He is so good
I am so depressed I just discovered this man today on TH-cam I’ve been binge watching videos of him entertaining unbelievable talent unbelievable and to learn that he died at age 52 and left the wife and three I believe beautiful children I don’t know how they coped I saw his daughter on a video when they sold his cars and she broke down crying saying this was her dad it was a part of what he liked I don’t know how they could even continue just heart wrenching I am so sorry to all who knew him and loved him especially his family

Del Florida - did you ever rec it or know anyone who did? Never got to see him live.

Mick Tiano - did you ever capture it on rec it or know anyone who did? Never got to see him live.
I worked as a cocktail waitress in his Rio showroom for three years. Saw his show hundreds of times. This was a great trip down memory lane!
I saw him at the Rio about 18 years ago, Best there ever was.
did you ever rec it or know anyone who did? Never got to see him live.
Danny was drafted by the Chicago White Sox. He injured his Achilles Tendon and retired from baseball. He played 3B in the movie Bull Durham.
After watching this, I'm so sorry I never got to see him in person - what a talent! Thank goodness for TH-cam!
I was fortunate to see him a couple of times. He was great. I love impressionists.
We wll never find another. Danny god took wrong guy that was wrong i watch you every night on u tub you make me happy you are they great est. Miss you. God bless
Someone I never got to see live. RIP
What a talent. Gone too soon.

When a man like this with all that talent dies, you look at yourself and think...why am I still here, I can't entertain folk like he could ????
I was lucky enough to see him perform at the Mirage, there is no one like him, awesome to say the least!
He is the best in the universe. I don’t think there will be another Danny in my life time.
I was fortunate enough to see Danny perform live at a large business convention several years ago. He was absolutely phenomenal! What a terrible loss when he passed away.
EVCarGuy , it's ok to say Amway convention.
Chuck Coats that made me snort!
I recognized some faces in the crowd, and I was at one of those Amway performances. Danny was probably the best performer Dexter Yager ever hired.
I saw him when I was 8 back in 2000 and I'll never forget he did Kermit the frog and the whole audience just swooned in awe. Couldn't believe how great his show was just by doing voices.
Saw Danny back in 2002. What a great Vegas showman. Danny, Bobby Darin and Elvis. All died too young.
I'm watching Bull Durham right now and didn't realize he was in it. I had no idea who he was until a friend gave me a ticket to his show in Vegas in 2002. I feel very fortunate to have seen him live! He fit the bill of the best act you've never heard of!

How can anyone be that gifted to have that many singing voices
I had the priviledge of seeing him live in Nevada and he was every bit as talented and more then you see in this video. I'll never forget him. And his impression of Sammy Davis Jr. brings tears to my eyes
He was in a class by himself. I was lucky to see him twice before his passing and both shows were different. What an amazing talent gone too soon.
Me too. He was one of a kind.
He was the best in the world no body was. Best. Now he is gone not fair we miss you i liston. To him all time i never get enough. Rest in peace play your gig up there love you danny
My college teammate played minor league baseball with Danny. He used to practice his voices on the team during road trips.
I remember going to Vegas in 2004 and his name was in lights everywhere! Never heard of him. Now I see why he was such a great talent.
You missed one of the best shows and talents of Vegas ever. Saw him twice.
Best signing of talent from another casino - RIO. TY Steve Wynn - Mirage.
I still remember the day we signed him. 🍾👏
RIP - DANNY 🙏!
I Saw him when I lived in Las Vegas. so shocked when he died. sent a sympathy card to his family and got a personal response!
Two minutes into this video it's not hard to see why he was the highest paid draw in Vegas, ahead of Sigfried and Roy. He was so gifted....God must have a bigger audience waiting for him in Heaven to have taken him at such a young age.
Wow! What a talent! Danny Gans is off the chart good. :)
Holy smokes! Never heard of him before, but he's awesome! Doing impressions is one thing, but impressing singers is another. Amazing!
One of greatest talents. Too bad we lost him :-(
He was great when he started up back in late 80s he was so funny. I keep watching that video. I never get tired of him.
RIP.
I lived in Vegas and Danny was the best show in town I saw him about 5 times each time he was great and 8 had the pleasure of meeting him after one of his shows a great guy a good person God rest his soul
Mom and I, front row center, shortly before she passed. One of the greatest memories of my life.
Very sad that Danny died so young. He was truly a terrific impressionist.

I've heard the name Danny Gans many times. Never knew what he did. Seeing him here for the 1st time I'm super impressed. Great entertainer, very versatile impressionist. And BTW, the guy could sing for real.
He was, for his time, Mr Vegas himself.
I was fortunate enough to see him perform in Vegas almost 30 years ago! He was an amazing performer!

By far the best that ever lived. You people that don't think so, have your ears check, are you kidding me there is no one close and I heard them all.
Died way too young. In my next life I want to be able to sing like this. Awesome talent!
Man that Sammy Davis piece is simply incredible....

The best you left the show feeling good
Great talent, wish I had made it to see him live
So many people try Kermit and James Stewart because they think it’s easy but what’s easy is getting it wrong And going too far. He nailed both. Also that Rod Stewart 👌 gorgeous.
Quoting my Las Vegas cab driver, "man of a thousand voices, master of one".
What a gigantic talent !!
RIP brother.
You are the Best!!!
Best there ever was.
Im speechless 😶 ❤️❤️❤️
Sammy Davis was on target. Best impressionist ever
I really regret not being able to see Danny Gans' act in person. He was a truly great impressionist.
Danny has to be best in the world we have to miss him rest in peace love uou
Amazing talent. But what’s so sad is almost all of the people he impersonated are dead, too. Great characters and talents themselves. The “stars” today won’t be impersonated or remembered in the years to come.
Billy Joel singing to Rosanne Barr..."She's gotta weigh... 300". Ha! He's really good.
Ha ha so funny. Ha ha, because she is fat ha ha. A comedic genius. Ha ha ha. Funny.
He was in Vagas when we were there . But we didn’t see him but I seen on another show .he died a couple years ago
The best ever,hands down,just sayin'
Damn he's so good
Danny was one of best in his field..
Aww, Danny's such an interesting story. Major league ball player who got injured, didn't know what to do, made an act for himself. He’s great
Yeah, he was great.
wow what a loss!
The Best!!!
I thought Danny did a fantastic job of impersonating Michael McDonald!...
This guy is good
Sad thing is he did the best Nat and Natalie ever and they are all 3 gone.;-(
This is unreal
What’s amazing is how many people he does. He’s not funny at all but his impressions are good I think. You could guess every one even if he didn’t announce it.
Is that the whole act, one little tinny snip of a song by tons of people. I don't know if I'd like that so much. But he must have had something people really loved.
I believe this a sample video...
My wife and I saw him and he did my wife! Wait thats wrong.
Why, why, why, did this man have to die so early!!?? HIs shoes are still empty.
RIP
Such a great performer. Knew the pharmacist who over prescribed him so many different medications weekly it would blow your mind. Death wasn't accidental. Paid coverup
Bunch of haters in here must live a miserable life.
7:08 oooh no, bill Cosby endorsed this guy? That's a bad sign.
That doesn’t make any sense. Awful people can endorse anyone they want to lmao, doesn’t make the person they like awful as a result. Get your life together 🤣
Danny Crook That was a stupid thing to say, Danny. I got a little uncomfortable when Cosby came on.
Don't make fun of Joe cocker the man was phenomenal
It was fun to watch though 😀
Does anyone remember Danny Gale?
No it's Danny gans
@@jimmyfale6370 No shit. I'm asking if anyone remembers Danny Gale. Two different guys dumb ass.
@@cyclops1092 never heard of him or you macaroni or whatever your name is 😂 😆 lol
