I love BPA comments. That doesn’t mean the highest on the scouting boards, it’s a Veiled comment meant to hide their intentions. The BPA could be 35 on most boards but they see him higher.
This would be a great draft.
1. Macklin Celebrini, C, Boston University
14.Cole Eiserman, LW, U.S. NTDP
33. Dominik Badinka 18, is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed defenseman
42. Marcus Gidlof, G, Leksands
Great run down!
I’ve read articles about the devils trading the 10th pick. Do you think the sharks could trade the 14th pick, Ferraro, and Kunin in exchange for the 10th pick and Holtz?
Tell me stamkos doesn’t make sense. You could give him 3 years 10 mil so what money isn’t an issue. You add scoring and experience plus him couture are close
I wouldn't tell anyone if I was targeting a certain player. Best player can always be traded for what you need later.
For this draft, I have had my heart set on a bunch of defensemen. I do like Sennece pick at 14 but of all the forwards who might fall, I would only be happy with him. Otherwise, D please :)
I have seen Berkly Catton fall on some boards, and he’s available at 14, the Sharks are laughing all the way home
@@miguellenhart2946 Good point about Berkley Catton!
Drafting a goalie in this draft is a bit confusing. There are no goalies in this draft that project to be more than backups. And you still have to wait 5 years for them. And it’s cheap to just sign or trade for a good NHL backup.
If you don’t have a goalie of the future it’s always worth taking a swing on one with a middle to late round pick because you never know. I’m a big proponent of taking one every year and see what happens.
Thank god Addison is gone, dude just couldn’t shoot or move the puck for the life of him. He did show an extra level of compete towards the end of the season but he was already firmly in the dog house. Hope he can find his game somewhere else.
Wonder what the return would be to move back to 18 with Chicago? If we could get 18OA plus the Chicago 3rd (67th) and a 25 2nd I think we do it
