Otherworld looks really beautiful honestly, if there was an afterlife I'd like to go to it'd be there imagine being able to train and getting stronger forever while meeting people from the distant past and people from other planets confirming the vastness of your universe

Yup, this is a five episode filler arc. But it’s actually my favorite one of the series, a lot better than the Garlic Jr. Arc for example. Also, I really like Pikkon as a character and the way he destroyed Cell, Freeza and the other villains in this episode was so cool.
This is one of the best arcs, and Pikkon is one of the best characters in the show. After all the madness of the androids and Cell, these episodes are a light relief but still entertaining🔥
I watched the show all the way up to the cell saga last year and stopped right here because I wanted to watch with ppl. So thank you guys for helping me get that off most of this stuff from this arc I won’t remember this will b great
you coulda skipped these 5 episodes but it’s still nice to know who pikkon is down the line so it’s not really considered filler but for the fact you COULD skip it i guess it is

The otherworld arc is Canon to the anime aside from anything that takes place in actual heaven/hell. Those were never fully established in Z. Ignore the manga elitists. Manga and anime are two separate canons. So anything you see in hell/heaven doesn't actually happen. Aside from that everything else should be Canon to the anime. While it was cool seeing that bit at the end it didn't happen. If you were to explain the cell thing then it would be that Cell had his guard down and Pikkon had immense speed on top of that allowing him to yeet cell so easily for a moment there.
The series just gets ridiculious from this point but not downhill

Actually Cell did kill Goku lol, Goku was right by the explosion and sacrificed himself keeping the planet safe from being destroyed

Why is pikkon not in the battle for the universe. He is much stronger than everyone besides goku, vegeta and Gohan. Hands down.
