I had a Zoia for a week and option overload had me sending it on its way after a few days...don't get me wrong- insane achievement there and incredible sounds inside- but I'm not super about menu diving gear...maybe if I had more time on my hands haha
This demo, along with the new addition of a Gen Loss card, singlehandedly convinced me to get this pedal, which I'd previously kinda ruled out. Good work showing its versatility (and yours!)
This pedal seemed like it had so much potential but all the demps ive seen about it just make it seem like any run of the mill ambient pedal. But this demo just convinced me I need it. Seems like one of the most flexible pedals Ive ever seen.
That is a great question that I'm surprised more people aren't asking! Tom from Cooper would be the best to answer- I can only speculate, but my reasoning would be a few things...with 32 different effects on one device you may just get option overload and never really dig into all it has to offer. Choosing one card at a time helps you commit and make clearer decisions. Another is that the physical idea of the cards is just a simple and fun way to get new sounds into the pedal. He plans on making many more cards, so instead of doing a software update and having to plug your pedal in when you want the new batch of effects- you can get a new card and just pop it in!
dingbatjack1234 I use samples from all over, and occasionally on tracks I have a friend/drummer/engineer Ben Livingston record live loops for me to use. In this demo I think I mostly used beats from Splice but also a few from LoopLoft and Circles
The ring mod bit or the delay section that starts right after that? Def will be mining some of my demo material when I get back to writing album stuff lol
u r a god
🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀
ALL THE ALGORITHMS! You're a madman. Beautiful work, my friend. Raising the bar!
Ridiculously great, dude! This pedal looks insane, I need it!
Noise Generator thanks man! Would love to see what you’d make of it 🙌
Best demo of the arcade so far. It fits with your style.
Truly insane that you were able to musically cover all 32 programs! Crazy good!
Amazing work sir! So happy I picked up one of these, just an inspiration machine and dialing up sounds couldn't be easier.
Thanks! It’s got to be one of my all time favorite pedals 🤟
love it, guess ill have to buy one now haha, have you got a zoia yet?

Love the format of your video! I'm usually looking for a dry guitar track but the mix is very clear and you laid down some JAMS
Lightbath thank you! I just like to show pedals in context of what you might actually use them for
Like the new background and transition effects! Great sound as always. I don't play any instrument just here for the great music!!
Kevin Rab thank you brother! Miss you 😘

Niv Bavarsky aw man that means a lot! It’s probably my favorite pedal.
Beautiful pedal! Nice!
Thanks so much🙏

Wow. This was an amazing demo!
One of my favorites I ever made- wrapping up a new one for the new cards Cooper is about to drop for the Arcades. So many sounds in this box! Thanks!
Excellent dude ✌❤
❤️❤️❤️

Demos In The Dark thanks man 🙌🙌🙌
Amazing demo dude, this is so so good!
Megan L woah thanks Megan! Your Sputnik and Superball demos blew me away 🙌 would love to hear your brain on the Arcades 👀
Jesus dude super good
i could almost give a fuck about the pedal, i stuck around for the music, goddamn
I will most certainly take that as a compliment haha
Fire!!!
Drake10 thanks dude!
Is there a functional reason to have the different effects on external cards rather than built in to the pedal like most multi effects?

As for a “functional” reason I’m not sure what each card could hold- that could be a factor for sure
Question about the drum sounds. Are they recorded live or samples? If they are samples do you mind sharing what you used? Sounds great!

@@SpiralCasterPlaysPedals yea I noticed one of the Oliver drum beats. That was the jam!
Please make 3:50 into a full song
The ring mod bit or the delay section that starts right after that? Def will be mining some of my demo material when I get back to writing album stuff lol
SpiralCasterPlaysPedals I guess it actually starts at 3:18 but it really catches fire at 3:50! :)
6:45
Looks cool, but I can imagine the cards getting lost quick. Watch for these to show up on the used market with cards missing.
That's what our Altoids tins are finally for
I think he likes Tame Impala lol
so sad that they've gone out of business
