Availity lets us do it for free. Medicare Part B has a MAC portal that lets you verify Medicare coverage. No single service is any better than another. It is basically a commodity.

Thanks. However, you can't really call Practice Mate "accounting software"; it's billing & practice management software. For proper accounting, you'd need something else like Qwik Books, Qwiken, etc.

Is this the only way to print a receipt for a patient or a ledger of visits so they can have it for tax purposes etc.....? Is there just a receipt that can print other than trying to print with CMS form layout?

You can create a customer receipt. The CMS 1500 is mostly if your patient is seeking reimbursement.
