    We invested in one about 1.5 yrs ago. Love it because our daughter's hair was close to waist length at the age of 2 and I did not want to leave her hair to air dry and she responded well to a dryer on cool setting. She's 4 now and no fuss 🙂

      Hmmm. That’s not very long. A blowout should last at least a couple of weeks unless humidity hits it. Try using a thicker heat protectant and take smaller sections. Be sure the hair is completely dry. It takes about 90 seconds per section and if her hair is thicker it may take just a little longer. Let me know if this helped. Best, Tamika

    • @SimplyTamika
      @SimplyTamika  2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      The spray heat protectant is fine. I do prefer to use silicone based ones. Try using a light and creamy leave in on your hair prior to putting on the heat protectant. That should soften the hair a great deal and provide an extra layer of protection. To keep hair as straight as possible in the hotter months, you have make sure tie your hair up nightly. Try bunning your hair or even wrapping g your hair to keep it straight.

      @@mjgarner123 Sabino Moisture Block is an excellent one. I've been using it for over a decade. Don't let the name fool you though. It does block out excess moisture for humidity control but locks in essential moisture for hair health. I like it because it's just 2 pure high quality cosmetic grade silicones. No fillers to dry the hair out. No I'm not affiliated with the company I just love this stuff and I use to email back and forward with the owner/creator of the product, Victor Sabino, so I learned a lot about it and best usage.

    This one is the $400 one I see ppl posting videos of the black and blue one saying it’s $400 I see the black and blue one for $59. So I’m wondering what is the difference in this all black one and the black and blue one. My daughter has 4A hair I’m always looking for tools that make life easier for her. She has a reminington blow dryer brush $70 she likes a lot. 20 mins and her hair is just about as straight as what this reverse blow dryer did. It’s made life much easier for her when she’s not rocking her natural curls. She doesn’t use it often cause we all know how the heat damages hair.

    • @krenee984
      @krenee984 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The one for 59 isn't from revair if you look at the URL. It is likely a knock-off product. I would be careful with that bc no telling whether it's heat settings etc are the same as the original... just my two cents.

    I really need this for me and my daughter. Your daughter hair is just beautiful without a flatiron. Tamika, do you know of any hair products that does not have any kind of nuts in them that will work on straight hair? my daughter wants to wear her hair straight this year since this is her last year in school but allergic to all nuts. I know you know lots of products that's why I'm asking you.

    Thanks so much for this tutorial! I have the old one and stopped using it because my ends would get tangled. Is using the comb when finishing a section the key to preventing tangles?

    • @SimplyTamika
      @SimplyTamika  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You’re welcome. You probably need to lower the speed. Sometimes hair will get tangled if the speed is too high especially for fine hair. Don’t leave the wand on for too long and yes the comb does help prevent the tangles as well.

      Awesome. Thank you so much! 😊 To get the best results shampooing and deep conditioning weekly with the products will help keep your hair ultra moisturized so that you can start retaining your growth. Be sure to minimize heat, and protect your ends as well!

    I'm terrified of heat. But am really sad that I have to blow dry my hair to get a few natural hairstyles. Do you use a heat protectant?

    • @aPeachWhoLovesYeshua

      Yes, always use a heat protectant. It's much less intense heat than traditional blow dryers but still heat.
