A jolly tune. ❤ the bass sound.
It's a very nice tone!
In time for the B&B weekend - thanks, Mel xx (from India😊)
Handy, huh? Don't look too closely though else you'll ruin the surprise 😁🤣 enjoy India! 🚲
Is it difficult to keep your speed down once you've been playing at full speed?
Ha! Great question - for me it's just a matter of calming my inner time keeper and really focusing on creating the space between the notes 😁 keeping an eye on my foot tap is also essential (as it has a habit of creeping back up!)
Great tune Mel, this had my jigging about doing the washing up! Thank you, I love the way you play 😄
That's a lovely image of you dancing in your kitchen Katie! 😁 Glad I could make the chores a bit less 'chorey'. Thanks for your email too! I'll reply tomorrow - but anything on my channel in G (my inside row) will suit you!
Love your videos! They are are very helpful! I just signed up on Patreon as well. Thank you and Keep up the great work
Thank you for saying this Ali! Really pleased to be helping you out on your Melodeon Journey 🤗 thanks for signing up to my Patreon - it means a lot! X
Lovely jaunty playing. I recognised the tune but know it as The Glorious 13th. I found it in a set along with Scottish Urbane, Sunshine and Mominette. Don't know what date it's celebrating?
Ah, unfortunately that is an error in the place you found it! The Glorious 13th is a Jon Swayne (Blowzabella) tune. You can find it in the BZB 'New Tunes for Dance' book. This is traditional French tune :-)
@@MelBiggsMusic Was curious to see where I found and discovered it's a tune set on the Session.
@@zenapickering3218 that doesn't surprise me at all then 🤣 unfortunately The Session is full of mistakes and discrepancies... It's a real bug bear!
