"Immigrants for British Jobs is what I say. Please vote me in and I will let millions more in so they can have more British jobs and they will all vote Labour to thank me for it" Gordon Brown.

I think the look on Harriet Harman's face saved Labour a few seats.

I know right, as if it is a bad thing to go to a good school and be competent at your job while handling Prime Minister Questions like a pro

@marsCubed This is an easy one:
Gordon gave the banks billions with no strings and low and behold that put it in their back pockets..the same way the millions of work shy do, why wouldn't they?
Brown stopped the 10% tax for the lowest paid and put it up to 20% cos the tories scared him, before the election that never was.
He also wants to tax the lowest paid ,but calls it NI.
You can give him my share cos it will help the economy.

However we raised the £, it went into maintaining our schools and infrastructure.. the only way to have made that into a loss would have been to give it to bankers as bonuses.. for yachts in Dubai.
betting that it would magically come back.
They are calling for the de-regulators to go to jail in Greece now.
Tories would have sunk the UK completely
Put Thatcher on trial and strip her of her peerage.

    @express375 Choice is simple,
Brown is talking about taxing the rich back with one off, and a progressive (rich pay more) tax regime.
Tories are talking about cutting education.
What will be better for our economy?
More Bonus culture or a skills base?
Banks had to be bailed out, There are no economists of any colour who disagree.
In Denmark they have highest incomes & best standard of living in Europe.
    Best health etc.
    All done with tax.
Pointless bailing us out if we are unemployable morons.

Gordon Brown shares an interesting fact: "I come from an ordinary, middle class family in an ordinary town...and I know where I come from and I will never forget..."
    Is he alright?

@marsCubed Facism was a phrase coined by Mussolini, industry run by the state,as is the opposite of the free market. I think that's Mandelson job. The guy who tells what your leader should do.Both of them got their job without a single vote.
Not very democratic, one might say fascist??
Do you realise the NAZI stands for national socialist??
    There's a clue there somewhere.
    Me win again :)

"only 11% across 27 countries said that capitalism was working well."
"29,000 people in 27 countries were questioned. In only two countries, the USA and Pakistan, did more than one in five people feel that capitalism works well as it stands."

Well time for a change in the U.K. It was a good long run. What was it, over a decade in charge? The British gave them a lot of faith, but it's time for a change. Labor will probably be replaced by the tories, but they won't be able to enjoy as big as a majority as labor.

  • @marsCubed
    @marsCubed 14 ปีที่แล้ว

I am not saying Labour are perfect, but worst thing we could do now is resurrect sloganeering the Tories use. it is rule by the Sun.
We actually need the opposite which Brown is clearly indicating.
An educated informed democracy and inclusion for a highly skilled workforce.
we need robot engineers and designers.
Tories would have us sell plastic toys to Taiwan, the only economics they know..crap.
In Taiwan they have robots to do that now.
    crushing wages is stupid.
    invest in ppl instead!

For sale one cabinet slightly worn as you can see its got mixed contents all hopeing to get in the top draw. Going for the cheapest offer. We had an offer from a russian but he decided not to take it as it was to expensive for his tastes in the end we also offer cabs for hire our new company run by one of our flock. Contents do leave a bad taste in mouth but its ok usually ignors those below them apart from every election time.

@ 4.39 'Between the people and those whom they are sworn to serve?' Does that mean the people are sworn to serve the politicians and bureaucrats? Another faux pas?

    @moneygob
Consider that Brown is taxing bonuses back, the conservatives would give the banks even bigger bonuses.
The economies in Europe which have not crashed are places like Denmark. highest tax on the rich in the world.
As a result they have the wealthiest and most equal population on Earth, best standards of living, best health, best education, longest holidays etc.
high skills, innovative tax investment did this.
We need old Labour, not worse of the same with Tories.
    Think about it.

Does anybody have the video for Easter Mondays ITV News at Ten (or Sky News before 10pm?). I just want to find out exactly when (and how) 'Labour sources confirmed' on Easter Monday night (5 April) that Gordon Brown would call the general election on Tuesday (6 April).------- -0416 4a40

@express375 he sold the gold in 1999 to 2002 whnich was over 8 years ago, do you think he could see into the future and that he could see that gold would go up in price in the year 2009 to 2001? i dont think so. Everything the man does is wrong acording to tory voters. All i would say to all you people out there is GRTOW UP AND STOP BLAMING EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THE WORL ON ONE MAN. All of you are dreaming and should wake up before its to late.

@express375 LOL, gold is done now.
Try tin, big energy required to make it and always good in a recession...
you know what though,, it is a pile of crap to have a few £ in a wilderness of economic fail.
best to put investments into something that works, like education, skills, infrastructure..
Imagine becoming like Germany or Denmark.
    no debt, bailing others out
be richer in a healthy economy.
China just bought Volvo is not win.
    Gold is magic fail.
