    Aldehyde is more reactive than ketone bcz in aldehyde there is only one electron donating group but in ketones there are two electron donating group the carbocation formed is more neutralized in ketones so less reactive

    Sir reactivity me +I effect ki baat nahi karenge Kya.
    +I effect is more in ketone and therefore increases the electron density. To +charge increase hoga to reactivity to us basis pe jada reactive ho jayega?????

    sir aldehyde is more reactive beacause aldehye has lass +I effect on his carbon while ketone has more +I effect on his carbon .so by this the +ve charge on ketone carbon(cabon by which funtional group attach) decreases and make it less reactive.

    Aldehyde will do fast than ketone because of Inductive effect caused by 2 methyl groups at carbon or due to steric Hindrance.

    As you explained nucleophillic addition is faster in aldehydes when comapared with ketones due to stearic hindrance sir that"s fine , but +I effect also can we consider , which makes carbon centre less electro-positive? its my doubt sir, i am not questioning you. Thank you

    Rxn fast in aldehyde becoz in ketone no. Of bulky group is more and in aldehyde only one alkene and other is H means less bulky group
