My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first TH-cam channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

I’m glad RJ wasn’t sick! I thought he was sick on the last few vlogs because he was a bit pale and tired-looking. Seemed like he was just stressing, but even stressing will make you sick. Hope he gets his well deserved relaxation and rest so he’ll be at his best most handsomest when you do the house tours. 😊

Yes, the fires are awful! I live in Connecticut and the smoke has been at hazardous levels! Outside events and concerts have been canceled for the past three days. The US has sent many fire fighters to help this week. Sending lots of prayers to our Canadian friends! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

You are truly a great person. Your integrity, empathy for all animals, creativity, and being humble set an example how all of us should be. Thank you for sharing your life with us. You make my day each day that I watch any of your videos. I am originally from the Ilocos region but I have been living here in the US since 1972. Your videos make me miss the Philippines as I have not been back since I left with my parents and siblings. You are an inspiration for all of us. Yes, Jurassic Park is one of the iconic movies of all time… John Williams, world's greatest composer I think. For me, Indiana Jones movies were super impactful. They’re all pretty amazing and have made their mark on pop culture.
I kinda knew the chocolate and pineapple combo was not going to work but, I guess that’s just something you have to experience to know. I am one of those that believe that Pineapple DOES belong on Pizza so, not sure my pallet is that expert.
Watching how much you enjoy your pool makes me so happy! I love how it seems to have become a central entertainment point in your home. I’m super excited for the big reveal/house tour vlog… that is years in the making (surely worthy of a John Williams soundtrack ;) ).

maybe the little house in the garden should be called a summerhouse? its a bit grander and sturdier built than most summerhouses but thats kind of the role its filling.
Mikey, my probiotic is a pill called Align but I also eat fruits and salads to try to keep my gut in shape, so enjoy the rest of ur evening relaxing by the pool 🇨🇦👍

Yeeeesss, this have been going on for a few days, I live in Midtown Manhattan and the air quality is SOOOOOOOO bad that you can't even see most of the skyscraper early morning, it dissapear, hopefully today is the last day of this, it's a bushfires from Canada, nature's way of clearing the earth, your LIGAYAS PATH is STUNNING, FOLIAGE IS TALKING TO US, they saying, THANKS MIKEY AND RJ for your VISION IN BUILDING THE MABUHAY FARM HOUSE, much appreciated, RJ, you are such a PERFECTIONIST WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR CRAFT THAT WE UNDERSTAND THE SELF IMPOSED PRESSURE, we love the farm house, its more BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE LIVING IN IT, it's an added bonus that you- RJ ,does what you do BEST, enjoying the blog so much, watching all the way from MANHATTAN NEW YORK
Love that your peppers are finialy growing just make sure to keep them watered and the soil moist so they will grow beautifully. Your pool is just so awesome just love it.

To me the best pairing of dark chocolate (my fav!) and fruits... is to pair it with strawberries 🍓 (of course)... but also it is amazing with orange 🍊 ! Strawberries are the BEST and they do not bump your blood sugar much at all! Pineapple is just a bit too acidic. Lots of good enzymes though.
Want some bedroom chocolate fun "snacking"? I'm going to keep this family friendly but I'm sure you can fill in with imagination. After all I was very happily married for 26 years. 🤭🥰🤫 For melting chocolate you can buy a small warmer like people use for heating wax (but ONLY use for food). You'll want a VERY low watt bulb as you really just want to slowly warm the chocolate and not burn it.
OF course you can just buy a small fondu pot as they make some small ones. Anyway you can have the warmer in your room and when you feel like it warm a bit of dark chocolate until it just becomes liquid. Stir until it is all liquid and then turn off the heat. You can then dip in strawberries or other fruits... orange, bananas, apples slices, etc. You can even stir using apple slices and not dirty up a spoon.
There is also nothing better than a champagne 🥂 celebration with chocolate dipped strawberries on the side! 💋💖

wow a python! 😮 i’m really concerned for your dogs running around your yard without supervision. Though that one is small the mother may not be far. You should have one of your house help to scan the yard before you let them loose, specially during times when pythons are known to be most active.

You should cover the bahay kubo with exterior wood panels with vertical slats. I thick it would look more like a traditional/colonial yet still looks modern
I agree on changing the name from Bahay Kubo to Pinoy kind of Chalet.
The moment you put a/c and made it fancier,.I felt it's not a traditional Bahay Kubo anymore.
How about CHALET de PINAS or MS CHALET, Mikey? ... (Pinoy/Pinay term is more for people, right?)
i would really suggest giving them a treats i mean reward them every time you'll ask them to do something for you in that way they will know that if they follow you, they will receive rewards. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

my husband and i have bred trimerusurs. but we also knew about other snakes. I worked in the terrazoo and gave guided tours on how to deal with snakes.... this python is at most 2.50 m long🙏 I love your vlogs so much, I always wait for it. Greetings from Germany

🦜⛲A Mikey DIY fountain for the Conures?!!! Maybe also future for larger Iguana Habitat??? 🦎
It hurts my heart 💔every time I see the conures trying to bathe in their water bowls, especially since I know you really wanted a natural looking water feature.. I MIGHT have an easier to clean and safe solution that could be a Mikey DIY project!!!
I know you (and some friends) have some experience with the lightweight concrete stuff used in aquaria and zoo exhibits to look like rock... such as your dragon. You can make a natural looking boulder that is mostly flat on top. This would make it very lightweight and easy to pipe. Though of course if you have more of those gorgeous rocks from the landscaping that is an idea too! In the center you can put a bubbler so that water gently cascades across the surface and over the side(s) into a pebble covered reservoir area that recycles the water. The birds would enjoy the top of the boulder and the pebble area for bathing. Conures live in the canopy of rainforest and so are more loving of gentle water instead of hard rain. I know you really wanted a water feature but wanted one easy to clean. This one should be as you can just brush the boulder clean and there are no deep areas of water.
If you want a visual idea/inspiration just search on TH-cam for Sunrise Fountain Rock by a TH-cam channel called fountainguru2010 or bubbler boulder; bubbling rock; bubbling

One thing about Mikey is he loves his belly lol (meaning he loves food) I thought he was done with the chocolate and then all of a sudden I see him with the biggest chunk of pineapple and the chocolate lol I laughed so hard 😂

Wildfires started in AB and now in Quebec. The wind is blowing the smokes south of the border thus New York is experiencing a smog like atmosphere and it's pinkish red. Kinda surreal!
Came for the ants, stayed for the house build. It has been epic, and strangely seems like the new pool has been there ages now.
I really want to see more of the creek/forest area :) Go explore my curious humans !

Got news for ya, Mikey -- it's not just the states close to the Canadian border that are having problems due to smoke from the wildfires. The air quality is poor on the eastern seaboard of the U.S. as far down as North Carolina, and I've read there are at least traces of the smoke throughout the rest of the country. My heart aches for those Canadians directly affected by the fires.

Giving Britany and Rizal a small treat after their pool practice is a very good idea And a good way to give them motivation to participate. Beware! Coconut water in cartons may be moldy inside. I always bought them but one day i decided to open the carton. Ughhh. Mold or who knows! Immediately returned to store with all the others. Manager was disgusted. Unfortunately there are no truly fresh coconuts in Massachusetts 😂.

Our province of British Columbia usually have wildfires every year. The interior BC have had huge wildfires in the past.
Really??!!! Oh so it must be a west coast thing. I am sure it is good for some species of trees like conifers for there to have regular burning.
