Came here to say this. In my opinion it's more immersive when the camera man gets hyped off of a sick trick, makes me feel like I'm watching my friends.

im always looking for symmetrical boards. never understood why more people dont demand them. thanks andy for making this board, needed something like this
I’ve wondered the same thing. I think it’s that having a bigger nose gives a slight advantage in some tricks like ollies (more to catch) and noselides (more to slide), dealing with a backwards board can be something people like to add in a line, and pros don’t have to worry about wearing through a tail fast because they get unlimited free decks.
But yeah, I’m hyped for this twin tail (twin tose) deck. It is wild to me that Powell didn’t offer a *single* twin yet. It is great to not think about deck direction, and that also spreads out wear to make the deck last longer. Glad Andy could see the value in it.
Without further research I know that Chris Roberts and Ishod have symmetrical boards, too. I wonder myself why not everyone is switching over to sym.boards. Is there any disadvantage? I guess as soon as Andy´s board is released everyone is talking about it.
You are the nicest most humble dude, Nigel. Youve never annoyed me. You cant just film pros, you gotta be a cheerleader too. It would be inhuman to not react and cheer.
Andy is an insanely gifted individual on and off the skateboard, big props to him and much respect.
I don't think I would ride an Andy's board, but I admire his audacity. He is bringing new perspective to the sport!
Andy’s passion for his deck shape and style make you want to go out and get it. He’s his own best salesman. His level of talent doesn’t hurt either.
Andy got into the same way of thinking as Ishod Wair and Chris Roberts with their twinn tail pro models. Awesome!!!!

To be honoust i love your whistling. It is part of your and this channels identity. We all became used to it. True fact 2 videos ago someone pointed that out in the comments but trust me those people really are in the minority.

YESSS I’ve been waiting for so long to get some insight into Andy’s new board shape! Awesome that it’s symmetrical and not quite as big as the previous model. He really had me with, "It’s out as soon as this video is released." :D Hope it’s out before winter really hits NY!
I bought a Double Vision board in 1989 that looks pretty similar to this new shape. Time is a circle.
All the guys are so dope man. Such a great team and all super talented. It's awesome that we even get a glimpse of this kind of stuff..

I just got a symmetrical board, and I think that will be the next major evolution for decks. I don't know how symmetrical boards never came out sooner, and I'll never go back. It's so freeing to just skate and not have to check your bolts or keep track of what way it's facing. I can still do all the tricks I could do before. I would guess with some exceptions, but overall whatever those exceptions may be it's way worth it to be able to just skate.
Thanks 4 helping me get through my illness/ and chemotherapy/ unable to skate, work through out, hopefully 🙏 at the end of the therapy now I can get back to life and skating, thanks for keeping me entertained ( Powell Peralta ) nka thanks 🔥your helping more than you know!!

Andy's new board shape and even graphic inspiration has a Vision 'Double Vision' vibe from way back in 1989. It was the hugely innovative double kick design that started it all.

I've been wanting a good symmetrical board since the 90's, once popsicle decks really started becoming the norm and switch tricks took off I really thought that symmetrical decks would be the inevitable result. Hasn't happened so now I press and shape my own

Andy's has his freestyle run so dialed in ..if you seen his freestyle run ever for the round up and if you watch he don't even think about it it's just natural it's amazing such a good dude.. I love seen others skate freestyle it's so fun I thought I was old and I'd never see freestyle come back but it's slowly coming back

I'm not complaining, but it's funny Nigel mentioned the whistling cause my dog is old and he freaks out every time Nigel whistles after a trick. I literally had to stop watching the vid a few times yesterday, and just wait for Barkly to fall asleep before I finished watching that one.
I will never get tired of these uncut vids. Great way to show the scenery, people, and their skating.
What I like abt Andy, is that, while being very good, he also got style. Not all good skaters got style. I actually think skateboarding needs skaters like him. Cause nowadays many skaters just focus on being clean or doing stuff faster, longer, and higher to stand out. Which is impressive, sure. But to me, it can be kinda boring. But how Andy is just messing around, doing all these weird and cool things. Just chilling. It's so enjoyable to watch! Also.. He is also a super chill dude!
The whistling works ....soon it will be a good trick concept appreciation like a deck knocking on the pavement for a sweet trick landed kinda like the board banging salute with the hockey sticks in the NHL eh

Listen to your intuition. Alot of people will say “yea i like the side commentary after tricks” but thats only because they’re being nice or passive even. Only you know what you need to progress you’re channel and whatever change or alteration you make we will all still be tuning in.
