    I have several Epiphone signature models by several artists. Looking forward to getting this in about a week when it arrives. Been reading many bad comments on this and on Joe. Many comments are on the pickups. Even the best pickups change over time. I would probably say 63 Gibson pickups probably sound close to this. I will probably change out the pickups some day like I do on all my guitars.
    As for Joe....worry about yourself let Joe worry about his self.

    No matter how you slice it, $1,400.00 is a lot of money for a chinese made epiphone. A few short years ago, you could have gotten a really nice USA made Gibson for this price.

    • @Leel3ones89
      @Leel3ones89 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My SG Tribute was just over $1300 total when i bought it in '21. Granted it's an entry level Gibson but the materials and the craftsmanship are miles above any foreign made guitars I own. It's not worth going over $1000 for something not USA made in my very uneducated opinion.

    • @Steve_9292
      @Steve_9292 ปีที่แล้ว

      If they added high quality unique pickups I would understand it more. But ProBuckers? Really? They're not bad pickups by any means but this "great value for the dollar" thing is a bit out of touch.
      Certainly no hate for Joe, but it's a lot of dough for what it is.

      I agree. I’ve been playing guitar since 2009, and i became familiar with prices over years. Now i’m in ireland and i’m seeing the highest price I’ve ever seen. They are exaggerated. Also for medium players. If u want a cheap product you can only aim at very poor quality china products. Yet if you want something a little better, not less of 3-400 hundred euros. Epiphones we're never meant to be a budget brand in the first place and they weren't until Norlin ruined them when they took over Gibson..2019 it all ended when JC Curliegh Restored Epiphone back to where they should have always been

    Pretty sad you have to buy an overpriced Epiphone because if they made a Gibson, only two people in the world could afford it.

    Been waiting for Epiphone to release an SG Custom with 3 pick ups, Ebony board and this updated headstock style for a hot minute now. It even has real mother of pearl block inlay, a bridge with nylon saddles and even a specially sculpted heel. All awesome. Then you had to release it with a damned vibrola and no Gibson pickups. RELEASE A STOP TAIL VARIETY WITH GIBSON PICKUP'S. FOR THE LOVE OF SCIENCE AND MUSIC. PLEASE. Otherwise, everything about this guitar screams awesome. Would like to see the rest of the binding ambered up too though. Just not that tint of yellow. A more muted amber would be perfect.
