I am a former prison officer. Hearing that the guards were allowed to wear patches on their uniforms that were not of their department is appalling. Then, to hear what was said about the guards' treatment of him and Allen is extremely concerning.
It all screams suspicious. Another department needs to go in and investigate this whole situation in the prison and get Allen out of there. I'm not saying he's not a part of the killings, but he's innocent until proven guilty. But it sounds like he could end up dead before either could be proven. If you can read then you know of the corruption in this case at the very least !

I think a lot of people forget that a major part of what defense attorneries do is making sure that their client's rights are not violated during the court process. (Sorry for the long post)
I live in Indiana and I unfortunately have been to county jail and prison. I can tell you firsthand that there was a man incarcerated in county with mental issues for over a year. He would urinate in a cup and throw it on the guards along with fecal matter at every count. Absolutely disgusting. He would scream and yell nonstop. They would move him from population to isolation and back again. He was never moved to a prison prior to court. They dealt with it because it was their job to do so. I don't understand why Richard Allen is in a max security prison. At Wabash there's a separate building outside of the max fence for low grade inmates. Why isn't he kept there? I don't like how he's in a small room and not even able to talk face to face with his attorneys. I've been in and out of the system and so has family members and none of us ever witnessed anything like this! Ive seen guards surround an inmate, pepper spray, tackle, spear, you name it. But they can't keep Richard under control? I'm calling bs.
If he's guilty, which I don't believe he is, than yes he needs to be in prison. I've looked into the eyes of many killers and rapists from my time in prison, and you can see the evil there along with a blank empty stare. imo Richard doesn't have that. To me his behaviors and actions are of someone who is innocent and going crazy bc he's innocent. Again, I've been around evil people and they accepted their fate and dealt with it... Even if they would claim someone else done it or they were forced to. They got comfortable in prison. This whole case just has me baffled.
( and id like to add I've changed my life around and I earned a certificate as a peer recovery coach. Most importantly, Abby and Libby need justice. At the end of the day their lives were stolen. It's a shame how this has been treated. I couldn't imagine how their loved ones feel seeing all of this portrayed out like a circus).

I have a feeling when all of this comes out in court (if we ever get there) people's jaws are going to hit the floor. IMO, something sinister happened to Abby and Libby that day, and they DESERVE for the truth to be revealed.
If Odinism wasn't 'A THING" then why was there a Task Force solely devoted to that angle? Also, one of those men were gunned down right in front of the Terry Haute FBI building; And many are so quick to say the two weren't related, but I find it to be very coincidental and highly suspicious.
I believe there is so much more to this case, and I hope people start to open their eyes and ears. One thing I have learned during my 46 years of living is that if you are unwilling to listen to both sides of a story, you will always come to the wrong conclusion.

@@MachinaGirlRobotsFirst, what do you mean with "Odinism" Norse Paganism is essentially animistic, so basing the faith in just one god is not follow it in its entirety or even know the deep meaning of it. My affirmation might be a surprise to you but it's NOT about ONE god but to build a every day connection with the all, the ancestors and etc natural spirits. Norse Paganism has nothing to do with human sacrifice. Did that happened in the past? Yes, happened with Christianity too, Judaism and Islam too. From them all we are the ones not doing it, if you understand what I mean. In this case, the religion art of it has nothing to do with the actual crime scene, if you are concerned with the girls you know that there is no signs of any runes or any other that would point to any branch of Norse Paganism. Now, the 'magic panic' has been used since the 80' and we need to keep the attention on the evidence and all of them point to this guy. I repeat; in the crime scene there is NO evidence of ritual of any kind.

For maximum security housing. This happens several times a year in the US with super high profile cases. Not all areas have county jails with anywhere close to maximum security capabilities.
Some are so lacking that the only 24/7 solitary housing cells are literally 1-3 cells they have in booking about 30 feet from 1 door leading to the outside with absolutely zero fencing.
The guards mistreatment is another issue and they need to move him to another facility. I definitely don't think anyone deserves that treatment while being still innocent until proven guilty.

Furthermore, this same man ASKED what would happen to him if his spit was found on Abby and he could explain it. This officer did nothing. Didn’t take him in for further questioning, nothing! Nobody wins anything if they pick the right person or persons if the truth is hidden. I hope people remember the creators that lied and didn’t remain objective during this case. Creators should be held to a higher standard when they are responsible for getting out information about real-life cases. If they want to make stuff up, then write a fiction novel.

To assume that a whole group of people is responsible is irresponsible and just smoke and mirrors to take away from the possibility that it could have been cult driven. The news crew stated that there were problems with the warrant and also something about the neighbor's garage being broken into and some hand tools being stolen. I think that is why the Defense team is requesting a Franks Hearing to see if the original search warrant was even legal to begin with. But I specifically remember there being questions about the warrant during that live broadcast.

He's losing weight intentionally to make it harder to identify him. Because not everyone is hearing the accurate facts about why he is being held where he is, which is mostly his own doings. Rick wants to urinate on paperwork and eat it, threaten suicide, break stuff and exhibit absurd unhealthy behaviors to appear as if he is mentally unstable. He took his dramatizations over the top and officials are responsible to give him the best mental/physical healthcare services available to them, the jails don't have what the prisons have in regards to this. Guards are actually scared to supervise him in fear of false allegations, everything is on surveillance fortunately. What stands out to me is that recently released inmates from both prisons have been questioned about the Odinism/guard thing and asked if they have ever seen or experienced this, and crickets!!!!! None of them have ever heard of any of this until now! Rick is just trying to look like a victim and he is hurting the reputation of innocent people making a living for their families. Guards have actually threatened to quit if they were scheduled to supervise Rick, they just want no part in his accusations. I could totally understand an innocent man being angry and lashing out, yelling, screaming, claiming their innocence, BUT why would an innocent man fake crazy? That's not the behavior of an innocent person by any means.

All three, risking their reputations and possibly their future livelihoods to publicly advocate for this man.. They all have more to lose by doing this than they have to gain.
Also, the case judge has clearly violated RA’s civil rights, per the state Supreme Court. Who then dismissed ALL of his pre-trial motions days after SCOIN reinstated his original attorneys. He’s also being/been housed in two maximum security state prisons before he’s even been convicted of anything? Way too many irregularities in this case to think there isn’t something amiss!

The way I understand the phone call admission to the wife was Allen was told his wife and daughter's lives would be in jeopardy unless he called and admitted to the killings. As far as the ballistics evidence goes this would be the first time anyone has ever been found guilty on this type of evidence. The problem with the evidence is the bullet was only cycled and not fired. Guns were once hand made leaving individual tooling marks on the parts, now thanks to modern tooling and computer machining each gun in a model is made identical. Every single pistol of that model and also different models using the same parts would leave the same marks on the casing. Say the
Sig Sauer P226 design changed and now they callbit the P227 but the company used all the same internals and just changed the outside looks of the gun. The new P227 would still show the same marks as the as the old model because the internals are still the same. Tooling is extremly expensive to change and a company might use the same internals for 20 years because why change it for every model if you don't have to. If that bullet had been fired that would be a totally different argument.

So many bullets out there, but his caliber matches? It's not a .45 or .38 special or a .223 or a 10 Guage, or a 25 acp, or a .44 magnum, or a 10 mm, or a 30 aught 6, blah blah. It matches his own gun he owns, and he WAS THERE, & described his own clothes, which match the video. He also confessed in town, & that's how they looked at him again. So anyone that wants to say that's a crazy Theory needs to take it up with Becky and the detectives and the professor who thought it was valid enough to pursue. The fact that the guard then wears patches which he then changed to a face tattoo just backs up the point so even though the naysayers are out there the facts are there to find if you look. And the bridge guy was cleared by Doug a while back in the same pressure he said that the young Bridge guy is the one responsible for the murder those aren't the same person in those sketches those are two different people and Richard is neither of them. You literally read my statement and you still thought "people people in this country have rights regardless of state statutes", and you somehow thought by my comment that I was saying to deny his rights?
The State requires it, therefore the defense needs to show anything to prove that the State found anything. Instead of making baseless claims, show the proof.

If he was really being abused, the state of Indiana would have sent an outside audit to investigate.
      Indiana statute
IC 11-8-4-5 Inspection of facilities; visiting inmates in institutions
Sec. 5. The appropriate officials of any state party to this compact shall have access, at all reasonable times, to any institution in which it has a contractual right to confine inmates for the purpose of inspecting the facilities thereof and visiting such of its inmates as may be confined in the institution.
      As added by Acts 1979, P.L.120, SEC.1.
Since the State of Indiana is a party of the compact to house Richard Allen, the STATE of Indiana is supposed to send any representative OF THE STATE to the prison to investigate. A lawyer is not party to the compact. Indiana IS the state representative of the compact. Any time is what the statute requires.
He is not getting abused and if he is, then the lawyers need to demand the STATE investigate. They did not ask the STATE to investigate. And since the statute means any time, then the prison has been investigated at the STATE'S requirement and not as request by the lawyers.
IC 11-8-4-8 Humane treatment of inmates
Sec. 8. All inmates who may be confined in an institution pursuant to the provisions of this compact shall be treated in a reasonable and humane manner and shall be treated equally with such similar inmates of the receiving state as may be confined in the same institution. The fact of confinement in a receiving state shall not deprive any inmate so confined of any legal rights which said inmate would have had if confined in an appropriate institution of the sending state.
      As added by Acts 1979, P.L.120, SEC.1.
