Given this song came out in 1966? I think, when you hear "rode off on his Honda, to a discotheque called the Anaconda" - did anyone know what Honda was at the time?
He was a genious visionary
sounds like David Fox - The Thing
I love that harpsichord riff..so jazzy and catchy
quite brilliant
"They even took Batman off the TV screen to show the rebel." It's easy to forget that there was outrage from Batman fans in 1966 when ABC News interrupted an episode of "Batman" to give a bulletin about about the emergency landing of Gemini 8 spacecraft, and received a lot of protest letters from viewers over the interruption. Allan must have taken notice about the event. As for LBJ's profanity , he was one of the most vulgar & profane presidents in history (along with Richard Nixon, Andrew Jackson and Donald Trump) and said much worse offensive language than "heck".
Nixon and Trump probably wouldn't say worse than cunt. Jackson and Johnson would say the n word. :p
OMG i have not heard these songs sense the 1960's as a kid
Awesome
What song is he parodying ?
i don't think it's a parody. i'm relatively sure it's an original comedy song.
It's reminiscent of "Big Bad John" to me.
He wrote a number of originals; this is one of them.
Nobody was talking to anybody! I dare say this is one of his best songs
You rebel. .. fuggel lol. Love Allen Sherman thank you.
The Hipsters National Anthem :p
Boomers in a nutshell.
Brilliant!!! One of his funniest songs.
I'm 14 and been listening to his music for quite a while
Billy Zane. Lol
She can push my buttons
To echo the other comments, this guy is great. Listened to him as a kid in the 80s because my step dad loved him. Everyone thinks I'm crazy when I listen to him. Long live Mr. Sherman and his talent
His book, The Rape of the A.P.E., is also quite the manifesto. Completed just a year before he died.
I memorized all his songs as a kid...still remember them.
I actually know that guy... I live in Corning and he goes to my YMCA...
brilliant, love this..
This was on Radio two at 3am on my way to work this morning! talk about an eclectic playlist
Just heard this on the radio for the first time. Brilliant.
+MrMjp58 I loved it too. Not sure about the lyrics but the harpsichord is wonderful
Played by Dr. Demento, I presume? He would have played it.
i love this guy
Love this song! Thanks for the upload!
killer shark brought me here ^_-
at 2:20 funniest thing ever! Julian's about to come out of his pants! haha Great band btw. Music should be about fun, and this is fun. Go see these guy's live and you won't be disappointed.
I want to see this guy collab ona new Eli Porter joint
@Mistertrapdoor It's a joke dude. It's like, of course Angeleria is the best name ever for a bicycle.
Angeleria is the second best name I ever heard for a bicycle...
jehovah witness i see lol
I will watch this every day until the ringtone is available for sale on iTunes.
Great clip; great music!
Awesome!
@thatdylankid You should ask him to show you some of his sweet ju-jitsu skills.
This dude.......
There is no dialog between the primary actors, but there is dialog in the background. Fun to watch the actors react to each other.
Does this have any talking in it. ??
he seems like a very nice man
This was the first movie I worked on. I worked as a set electrician and at times worked my ass off. The stripper scene was the hardest day I have ever work! Had a great time though, Billy Zane was a great guy.
I played Eartha Kitt's lover in this FAB movie.....God rest your soul Eartha, you are a LEGEND!!!!!!
i remember cutting this trailer! don't know what happened to the movie--but i watched it over and over--it is something you've got to see! so how did the trailer end up here? also it was one of the first trailers to feature the voiceover guy who is everywhere now--recognize his voice.
this film blew my freaking mind. It's really good! The songs that some of these people write are crazy, and some of them are so convinced that they're going to be a success. It's called Off the Charts, the Song Poem Story, and you should rent it if you want to see one of the most hilarious and depressing scams of all time.
you guys must admit this glove cant acquit.
the most fine 299
